Dinner was finished, and they were all supposed to go back to their respective dorms/house. TNT's manager's phone rang, "What. Where is she going to live then? Ok fine, got it. Fix it as soon as possible".

He got off the phone and turned to Meiqi. "Meiqi, I'm so sorry. Your dorm isn't ready yet, one of the pipes broke this morning. They said it's going to take at least a week or two to fix". "Oh that's ok then, but where am I going to stay then?", replied Meiqi.

"The boys have an extra room in their house. Looks like you're going to have to live there until the pipes are fixed", said TNT's manager.

"Wait, I need to live with the seven of them till it's fixed?"

"Looks like it", said TNT's manager.

A million thoughts ran through Meiqi's mind, but panic was what overwhelmed Meiqi. She had never lived with roommates before, mainly because she enjoyed being alone. She purposely avoided having roommates for this very reason. Not only did she need to have roommates now, it was with seven dudes. That she had just met! This is not going to turn out well, she thought to herself.

On the other hand, the boys cheered. "MORE TIME WITH MEIQI YAYAY," jumped Yaxuan and Yaowen.

They arrived at TNT's house. It was surprisingly big, now she understood how they had a spare room. "Chengxin, can you show Meiqi the room. I have to go back to the company to do something", said TNT's manager. Chengxin replied with a nod.

"Here's your room. Sorry there isn't much in here since it's always empty but let me know if you need anything", said Chengxin.

Meiqi glanced around. This room was much bigger than where she lived at home. At least the place she was going to stay at was nice. Meiqi began placing some things on the shelf, but she soon realized she was way too short. "Do you have a chair I could borrow, I need to put my duffel bag up", asked Meiqi.

"I'll do it for you. Which one do you need to put up", said Chengxin

Meiqi handed the bag to Chengxin. Though she preferred to do it herself, she rather not make a fool of herself for not being able to reach the shelf. As Chengxin stretched to place the bag his shirt lifted up slightly, exposing his six-pack. Meiqi stared in awe, wondering how hard he must have practiced and worked out to get a six-pack at his age.

"Is that all", said Chengxin, waving his hand in front of Meiqi's face. She didn't realize she had been staring for longer than expected. Meiqi blushed. Girl, what are you doing, she thought to herself.

"That's it, thanks", she replied.

Just as Chengxin was about to leave, he noticed the bag sliding off the shelf. He didn't realize how off to the edge he had placed it.

"WATCH OUT", yelled Chengxin.

Meiqi looked up, and seconds later they both fell to the ground. Chengxin had blocked the bag from hitting Meiqi but tripped at the edge of the bed, and Meiqi fell down with him. They were literally an inch apart from each other's face. Their eyes met for a second, and Meiqi quickly looked away. She could feel her face turning red. Holy, he is too close.

Jiaqi had heard Chengxin and ran into the room.

"Are you gu-", he was going to ask if they were ok but was met with seeing the two of them on the floor bodys touching each other.

Chengxin quickly got up. "Yea, I'm fine. Meiqi are you ok?". He offered his hand to pull her up.

Still beet red, Mei replied in a barely audible voice. "Yea, I'm fine sorry about that". She had felt guilty for injuring Chengxin. See, this is why I should have done it myself.

"It wasn't your fault. I shouldn't have put it so close to the edge. I think the shelf is kind of small. Do you want to leave the bag in my room, you can just come over and get what you need when you need something from the bag. I don't want it to fall again", replied Chengxin.

Meiqi rather keep the bag in her own room but didn't want to cause more of a scene and just agreed to leave the bag in Chengxin's room. I hope nothing important is in that bag, she thought to herself. She probably was going to avoid getting the bag if she didn't need what was in there.

"We'll leave you alone for the rest of the night then. Have a good night", said Jiaqi.

"You too", she whispered.

All night Meiqi tossed and turned. She couldn't get that scene out of her head. Chengxin. An inch away from her. During the few seconds that they had fell down, she noticed how nice his eyes were. Sparkling in fact. Meiqi what is wrong with you, stop thinking about this.

She tossed and turned until the sun rised.

Chengxin POV

Tossing and turning, Chengxin couldn't sleep all night. That scene kept replaying in his head. I was so close to her. I've never been that close to a girl before. His heart pounded as he thought about it. He noticed her eyes for the first time today, and they were really mesmerizing even though he had only looked into them for a second. Chengxin stop it!!, he thought to himself.

"Ding er what's wrong. Why aren't you asleep yet it's 2am", said Jiaqi, who was sleeping right next to him. "Sorry did I wake you up", whispered Chengxin. "Kind of, but it's ok. What's wrong? ".

"Nothing, I just can't sleep", said Chengxin.

"Are you ok from today? Seemed like you fell hard"

"Yea I'm fine. I feel bad for Meiqi though. Hope we didn't scare her today"

Jiaqi turned over. "What do you think of her. She seems really quiet, but she performed really well today. Was surprised at how well she sang".

"Yea she did. Bet she's gonna make it far when she debuts. As for her personality, she's really quiet. Hopefully, she opens up a little more as time goes on. It's only her first day anyways. Let's try to do something for her later this week",

"Like what", asked Jiaqi half asleep.

"Not sure, maybe a party or something. I'm sure the rest will think of something. They were all excited to meet her"

"Were you not?"

Chengxin flusteredly replied, "I was, but they seemed more".

"You know, I feel like I've seen her somewhere before, but I don't remember where."

"You mean from her dance videos?", Chengxin said with a laugh.

"No like I feel like I met her when I was younger, but I don't remember where"

"Maybe you're just confusing her with someone else"

"Hmm yea.. Maybe. Anyways, let's go to sleep now. We have practice early tomorrow", said Jiaqi.

"Yea you're right. Night", replied Chengxin.

"Night"
