A few days had passed since the incident. And as if it was faith, TNT had a packed schedule those couple of days, with back-to-back shoots and different programs. This meant Meiqi didn't have much time to interact with Chengxin or Jiaqi. And she was ok with that because she didn't know what she would say even if she did see them.
The day where their schedules finally returned back to normal and practice resumed, Meiqi found out her dorm room's pipe was finally fixed. This meant she was going to stop living with TNT. "Well Meiqi, you don't need to live with these clowns anymore so that'll be a relief", TNT's manager said. She mustered up a laugh even though it wasn't genuine. She actually wouldn't mind continuing to live with them, she had a lot of good moments with them but after all that happened, maybe it was best that she didn't.
She was packing her bags and moving things downstairs with other members helping her. She had seen Jiaqi these past few days even though they didn't talk. Chengxin on the other hand, hadn't come home at all for the past few days because of his drama shoot. He slept on-site and she couldn't help but feel concerned and worried about him.
The front door opened. "DING ER YOU'RE BACK", exclaimed Yaxuan. He smiled, "Have you been good while I was gone. Bet you gave staff members a headache".
"Of course I was good. I'm always good. Yaowen is the naughty one, the staff member chased him down the hall the other day because he pulled a prank on them". Chengxin shook his head laughing. He looked around the house and saw all the bags and luggage. "Who's moving? Why's there so many bags?"
"Meiqi's dorm finally got fixed so she's moving out today", Zhengyuan explained.
"Oh", he quietly muttered. He had been avoiding Meiqi after the incident, though it didn't take much since he had to sleep on site for work. He was wondering about how it would be having to interact with her when he came back, but guess he didn't have to worry about that now.
"Let's do a farewell for Meiqi tonight then!", Yaowen said.
"You just want another reason to go out and play", said Junlin.
Yaowen gave him a stank eye. "That's not true. Meiqi I don't want you to leave but if you're going to then we might as well celebrate right", he said throwing his hands in the air.
She smiled slightly in reply. "Sure, whatever you want".
"YAYY", Yaxuan and Yaowen cheered.
"You guys wanna go to the restaurant that has the night view? They have a ferris wheel across the restaurant too!", Yaowen suggested.
"That restaurant is expensiveee, you think we're rich like that", scoffed Haoxiang. "You pay the bill if you wanna go there". "Xiang Geee I know you have money. Don't just spend it on Junlin". Haoxiang rolled his eyes.
Meiqi laughed slightly. "It's ok, I'll treat. For housing me and keeping me company these two weeks".
"Really??!!", Yaowen exclaimed.
"That restaurant is really really expensive. It's in the middle of the city inside China Zun", Jiaqi didn't mean to speak but he didn't want Meiqi to spend a fortune on them.
"China Zun, the place you pointed out last time?", Meiqi asked. She realized she had asked that out loud, it was the same building where they were able to observe from the rooftop that they were on when they snuck out. She had meant to ask herself.
"Yea", Jiaqi replied in a barely audible voice.
"Since when did you two go to China Zun?", Junlin asked. "We didn't", Jiaqi replied.
