Chapter 7

Clay had Gemma ride on the back of his bike to show solidarity to the unusual couple who was new to town when they met at the diner to discuss the arranged marriages between the three women and three bikers. The biker couple arrived first and walked to a booth at the back of the diner to await their guests. Ryu was a bit hesitant about this meeting knowing they were bikers and he wasn't sure getting his daughters involved with bikers was the best thing for them. Massika was more optimistic about the situation as she prepared to leave for their meeting at the diner. The three girls decided to order a couple pizzas and watch movies while their parents went out for the evening. Massika smiled at her daughters before following her husband out to his BMW. When they arrived at the diner, Gemma waved at Massika earning a wide smile in return.

"Good evening! Thanks for joining us. This is my husband Clay. He's the president of the MC." Gemma introduced Clay to the pair.

"It's nice to meet you, Clay. I'm Ryu and this is my wife Massika." Ryu stuck his hand out for Clay to shake in greeting.

The biker leader shook Ryu's hand as the waitress walked over to take drink orders before leaving the foursome alone again.

"So. We have three daughters we want to find husbands for. We have certain criteria that must be met before we'll agree to the marriage." Ryu stated.

"Oh? What's that?" Clay asked as the waitress finally brought their drinks to the table.

Ryu waited until she'd taken everyone's orders and left the group alone again before speaking up.

"I understand for natural born Americans the idea of an arranged marriage is foreign and strange. We want men who will be faithful to our daughters. Someone who will treat this marriage like a real marriage and real relationship. We will not put up with a man who mistreats our daughters. If they have a record of violence towards women, we will not approve of the marriage. We want someone who will take care of and look after our daughters with the same fervor as our daughters will look after and take care of them." Ryu explained.

"That's understandable. I assure you none of the men we have in mind will ever mistreat a woman. That kind of behavior is beyond frowned upon within our community. Although we are springing this upon them, I think once they get to know your daughters, I think everyone will get along really well. They are all very loyal men." Gemma quickly replied.

"Who are you thinking of for which daughter?" Clay asked his wife.

"Tig for Remi since he's already shown interest in her. Chibs with their daughter who's a nurse because I think they'll have a lot in common. And finally their photographer daughter with Happy." Gemma stated.

"I see." Clay stated before takin g sip of his drink, "All three of them are very loyal as my wife has already stated. It might take them a little while to get used to having an 'ol lady and wife but I think they'll get used to it pretty quickly. We are all one big family here and all look after one another. Looking after their wife wouldn't be a stretch for them."

"Ok." Ryu stated.

"Tell me why you think the couplings you suggested are good." Massika looked over at Gemma.

"There's already an attraction there between Remi and Tig. I saw it the day you came to take your car. That went both ways, by the way. She was showing the same interest in him as he was her. I think your daughter that's a nurse would be good for Chibs because they would have a lot to talk about and she wouldn't have to explain medical terms to him as she talked about her day. He's a very laid-back man and is a great listener. I think your daughter that's a photographer would be good for Happy because he doesn't talk a lot, although he is very protective over what he considers his and of his brothers in the club, but he's an excellent listener." Gemma explained earning a head nod from Massika.
