Chapter 9

Remi was already making dinner when her mother came home. She asked how the wedding plans were coming bringing a smile to her mother's face as the older woman explained that things were coming together slowly. During dinner, Massika explained about the tattoo the bikers expected their new brides to get taking all three women aback. None had ever thought about getting tattooed before. Ryu wasn't pleased but Massika told him this was part of their culture and traditions and that they needed to compromise on it for their daughter's sake. The three girls looked at one another wondering what it was that was going to be tattooed on them and where it was going. Remi was the only one who was a bit excited at the prospect of getting a tattoo. Her two sisters weren't so thrilled.

Remi's goal the next day was to find herself a wedding dress. Her mother and sister's had to work so she was on her own again. She was taking her sister Elise out house hunting that afternoon when she got off work so she only had so long to do some dress shopping. If she didn't find anything that day, she'd continue on looking until she found one she liked. Elise was the middle child of the triplets and was already planning what she wanted her residence to look like making her older sister laugh. Elise worked long hours and didn't want to have to deal with mowing a yard or fixing things when they break so she decided she would rather have a condo than a house. Remi told her sisters she'd buy them whatever they wanted earning wide smiles and tight hugs in the process. All morning and most of the afternoon, Remi tried on different wedding dresses at all the shops in town but nothing tickled her fancy. She finally gave up and headed home.

'Guess I'll head to the next town over to do some shopping tomorrow.' she thought on her way home to await her sister. Remi was watching TV when Elise came home from the hospital. She wanted to take a quick shower before they went out residence-hunting. Massika knew what the girls were up to that afternoon so she was going to prepare dinner that evening when she returned home from work. Once Elise had showered and changed clothes, the two sisters headed to the same realtor that Remi had used to find herself a house since he'd done so well in finding her a residence. Elise explained what she was looking for in a condo and what features she'd really like to have on the grounds. He smiled and said he knew the perfect condo for her. They followed him to a nice condominium and parked. Heading inside the office, he got the manager to show them the condo that was up for sale.

It had three bedrooms, two baths, the terrace was nice, and had all the amenities Elise wanted in the condo and on the grounds. Some of the other residents waved and smiled at them as the office manager was walking them around the grounds after they'd seen the condo. 'Beautiful condo, nice views, all the amenities I wanted, good neighborhood, and friendly neighbors! This place is perfect.' Elise thought as they finally headed back to the office. Elise asked her sister what she thought making Remi laugh and tell her that she was the one living here but thought the condo was great and the grounds were awesome. After a little discussion, Elise finally decided on taking it. She did all the paperwork to set up payments and left with the keys to her new condo. Elise hugged her sister tightly before they headed home.
