A Peek Behind The Veil

The Crash

One had come along
In a calming wave that sent my past behind me
I came into the present moment with awe
I had been here before, how long has it been?
Time warped
The days felt slow yet gone too fast
Packed full of joy and pleasurable experience
My heart floating weightless in my chest
Then life took control and turned my tragetory abruptly
I pulled away from her and everything else
My arms reaching out as the distance grew between us
I felt gravity tug at my heart and soon it was in freefall
Its a long way down to the Earth
If i cant correct my course
My heart will shatter across the land
