Forgotten tortures, solemn and heavy
Growing tighter around my heart
As lifeless vines return from the dead
A fire grows around me
And smothers my will to live
The embers sit always at my feet
Awaiting the endless fuel supply
It will arrive
At dusk
At dawn
In a second
Feelings drain from me
My body slows like weight is cast around my feet
These sunset fractures
Breaking me
