In these words, I'll change the world
The greatest sorrow forgotten
And the joy of all unheard
For it all passes onto the next
Ears that heard will greet silence
Mouths that said will close for good
Memories that were locked away
Will fade to black
With your voice, you pass it on
Glimpses of pictures
Of feelings once held
Just a lowly speck of meaning
To transform into something else
For better or worse it will pass
From person to person
Dust to dust
What is said will carry on into time
Forever shaping the universe
Through the people passing on
So it is, I love you
