Standing in a fortress looking into the sunset
One final night approaches to end all the frustration and upset
The meaning of time is clearer to me now
After all the waiting at the back of the line for chow
Patience is key, contentment is best
Even when in the front leaning rest
I've found myself better at the end of all this
Through those dark nights on bay guard, I'll never miss
But it's only a point in time, the last page of a chapter
In a story leading up to the next disaster
Now its time to go to bed and face the change one day can bring
A dream tonight is all that's left, till I say my goodbyes and take to the wing
