All falls away
My shallow breath and chronic tension
I'm reminded of the ease of living
Just to be a passenger of time
A leaf upon the water
I may be pulled every which way
Believing that movement equals progress
Wrapped inside my gulity thoughts
Wanting to be something greater
Drawing closer to trouble and discontent
In places better off without me
But when I can relinquish control
And follow the gentle pull of my heart
Love comes easily, I can stop to see the sights
Beauty is there waiting to be witnessed
I cherish those simply effortless moments
When I am enough and life is enough for me
Happiness encouraging me behind the scenes
I like to be here, when I can
