"Paisley. Paisley. Wake up Paisey Pie." Luke whispered and gently rubbed my back.

"Why are you always waking me up?" I groaned and cuddled even closer to him.

"Because you're always falling asleep P." He said with a laugh and ran his fingers through my hair.

"Your beard is tickling me." I said and moved my head down on his chest.

"Want me to shave it for you?" He asked and stroked his chin.

"No I like your beard." I mumbled and heard his heartbeat quicken in his chest.

"Come on P the movie is over." He said softly and moved my hair out of my face.

"But you're comfy." I said.

"I'll be even comfier at home. Come on get up sleepyhead, we can get ice cream on the way home." He said and forced me to get up.

"You're mean." I pouted and sat up to face him.

"You're pretty." He said with a smile and looked up at me as I stood up in front of him. I couldn't help but smile at him which only made him smile wider.

"Come on I want ice cream." I said and pulled him up from his seat and practically dragged him out of the movie theater.

"Michael said everyone wants to come over and hang out tonight. Are you gonna join us?" He asked as we walked out towards his car.

"Um I don't know." I said and watched him as he opened the car door for me.

"They asked if you would, they want you to." He said as I climbed in the car.

"I don't know they make me nervous sometimes." I said truthfully and played with the ends of my skirt.

"Why do they make you nervous?" He asks curiously.

"They're all so popular and so loud and loud scares me and people aren't my thing. I don't fit in with you guys" I said softly and looked down at my lap.

"You don't have to be scared of them, they won't hurt you. And you do fit in, you just don't realize it but you do. You just aren't comfortable with them yet, but you'll get there." He said reassuringly.

"I'm not like you guys." I whispered and kept my eyes on my lap.

"You are Paisley." He said and turned my head forward him at a red light.

"You don't realize how lovely you really are." He said softly and held my cheek in his hand before placing a gentle, soft, and tender kiss on the center of my forehead.

Yup, I like him.

"Paisley hi!" Caroline said cheerfully and quickly pulled me in for a hug. I was caught off guard and flinched the second she touched me while I felt my breath get caught in my throat.

"Uh hi." I said and tried to be as cheerful and happy as she was but I honestly couldn't handle people touching me, especially when I don't know them.

"I feel like we haven't seen you in so long how have you been?" Gracie asked as she came up to give me a tight hug as well. I nearly felt like I was suffocating from the lack of air that was in my lungs, but I didn't have the heart to tell them to keep their distance.

"I've been okay." I said breathlessly and got pulled in for a hug by Jade as well.

"We all need to have a girls day soon and get to know you more. Any friend of Luke's is a friend of ours, plus he seems to like you a lot more than just a friend way. He talks about you nonstop." Caroline babbled.

"Lynn shut up." Michael scolded as he walked over to us.

"Sorry sorry I'm just excited." She squealed and clapped her hands together.

"Excuse her, she's a nut job." Michael said and gave me a remorseful look.

  I felt my heart speed up even faster in my chest as they all surrounded me and the three boys pulled me in for a hug. Why were all of these people huggers?

"Excuse me I'm just gonna go to the bathroom real quick." I said and quickly rushed off to the bathroom.
