We sat around the fire for a while. They all did most of the talking while I just sat and listened to them.

They asked me some questions about me to get to know me a bit better. But once they got more drunk they got rowdy and began joking and fooling around.

"Hey Paisley, do you wanna go for a walk?" Caroline asked as Luke and Calum wrestled drunkly in the sand. Michael and Gracie were arguing over who could drink the most vodka in the shortest time without throwing up. And Ashton and Jade were being cute and shit by the fire.

"Sure." I said as we both stood up from our blanket we were sitting on.

"You looked a bit uncomfortable over there so I thought maybe we could get away for a bit. I notice you seem to be uncomfortable a lot, but I understand that not everyone is a people person. I just want you to know that you don't have to be uncomfortable around us." She said which made me look down at the sand as we walked.

"Yeah I'm not much of a people person. I'm just not used to being around so many people at one time and having them being so loud and touchy and stuff. I appreciate you guys for constantly trying to make me feel comfortable with you guys, I just wish I could actually get there." I said truthfully which surprised me a bit. I didn't really expect myself to just full on tell her what I was thinking. I hardly did that with Luke, I mean I just started doing that with Luke.

"You don't have to rush anything. We want you to be comfortable, so take as long as you need to get there. We care about you really, some more than others." She said with a smirk and wiggled her eyebrows.

"Yeah I know." I said with a mixture of a sigh and a laugh as I smiled.

"He doesn't stop talking about you you know. He's a nervous guy when it comes to girls he likes, he acts confident but he's not. He's a nervous reck, more so around you we've noticed." She said which sort of confused me. Why would he be more nervous around me?

"Why do you say that?" I asked and looked over at her.

"I think it's because he knows you aren't really interested in boyfriends and stuff like that, but he wants you to be. He wants you to want him really bad so he just tries to do anything and everything to impress you and get you to like him. He really really cares about you. He talks about you like you put the stars in his sky." She said which made me heart speed up a bit in my chest and a small smile appear on my face.

"I do like him. It just took me a really long time to realize how amazing he is. I'd tell him but I'm kind of scared to, plus I don't really know how. He thinks that I like him, or at least that's what he says to me. So I guess I'm just hoping he'll catch on, but maybe that makes me kind of a bad person for doing that to him." I said and heard her squeal in excitement.

"I knew you'd like him, we all did. If you like him then you'll want him to be happy right?" She asked while I nodded my head.

"Then tell him, you'll make him so happy." She said with a wide smile.

"I just don't know how to without being awkward or something." I said and looked up at the sky.

"Just tell him be like, 'Luke I really really like you' and go from there." She said as if it was the easiest thing in the world.

"What if he changes his mind? I can't just get attached to him and have him leave me in the dust." I said nervously.

"Well... I wish I could tell you that that won't happen. Relationships are unpredictable, you'll never know what's going to happen or how the person your with will feel about you the next day. It's unpredictable and it's scary but Luke's always been the type of guy that makes sure you know he cares about you all the time. He's clingy and affectionate, especially when he's drunk by the way." She said which made me feel a little bit better but I was still a little scared.

"Take your time on figuring out how to tell him. He's not rushing you." She said as we began walking a bit closer to the fire where everyone else was.
