Until Now

🃏🪄Marvin Chapter 1🪄🃏

He begins by pulling out a card "The fool.." he smiles "This card is an interesting one.. though it reveals a lot in my story so we'll leave that for later.." he puts it to the side pulling another. "The Lovers-it all began when two souls met..my story though is set in the 1400's.." everyone widens their eyes "Whoa hold up- Marvin you're from the 1400's?" he nods at Will as he continues "Two lovers who wanted one thing.. a child.. and so their prayers were answered when a beautiful young women gave birth to a baby boy.."

The cries of a new born fill the wooden house and its bathroom as his Mother pulls her child to her warm embrace. "He's beautiful.." say's the Father sitting beside her "Meet your son-Marvin" she hands him off to the young man who cradles the baby in his arms gently. 

After getting everything cleaned up along with the Mother, she dresses walking into their bedroom seeing her sweet husband rocking new born Marvin into a gentle hold. "Honey come here.." says the Father "His eyes are.. odd don't you think?" she walks over looking at Marvin's bright blue eyes "Their just blue sweetheart" she gently combs the little hair Marvin has out of his face. 

..A few years go by and Marvin is 7 years old his Mother becomes more aware of what Marvin is capable of..

Marvin pulls "The Magician" card continuing hearing some awe's from the group "So this is where the magic happens" jokes Will seeing him nod with a smile.

"Mama! Watch this!" Marvin walks to the center of the living room, twinkling dust comes from his hands out of nothing onto the floor "Ta da!" he claps laughing.  She widens her eyes rushing over picking up Marvin "Philip!!!" she shouts for her husband seeing him rush in "What's the matter Katrina?" he walks up to her seeing the twinkly powder on the floor. Looking at his son he widens his eyes "I..I think I gave birth to a-a witch!" she shouts starting to cry. Taking Marvin Philip looks into his eyes "We have to keep this a secret.." she nods standing up "If not.. he could be burned at the stake" they all embrace "We'll keep him safe at all cost" they close their eyes surrounding young Marvin.

"So what happened next Marvin?" asks Jameson watching him pull another card. "Strength" he says placing it down "Now that my father and mother know what my potential could be they kept strong to keep my safety at peace" he continues.

"Philip.. I-I hate to say this but-" she turns to him "I'm tired of hiding our son like this.. he hasn't been to school he hasn't seen the sunlight" he turns to her "Katrina it's for his own good, if we let him be a normal boy he'd surely be dead by sunset" he shouts. "Philip all I wanted was a normal child.. why did we get this curse put upon us.." he sobs into her hand as Philip wrap's his arms around her consoling her, standing in the doorway teenage Marvin has tears in his eyes from watching them fight previously. Philip looks over "Come here son.." he kneels opening his arms as Marvin runs into them crying as his Father holds him tightly "I-I'm so sorry Father.." he sobs out pulling away wiping his tears. "I'm sorry for being different from the rest.." he sniffles, Philip combs his hair from his eyes "Marvin.. there is no need to be sorry for something you can't control.. we love you just the way you are" Katrina stands beside him with a warm smile looking at Marvin. "Papa?" he stands up "Yes Marvin?" he pets his head with a smile "I-I want to go to school.. to meet friends" Katrina looks at Philip with a concerned stare. "Marvin come sit" he pulls up a chair from the dinning room table sitting Marvin stares his Father in the eyes, Philip kneels putting a hand on his shoulder "Marvin.. since you're different.. you can't go to school.. it would be dangerous.." Marvin tilts his head confused "Why would it be dangerous papa?" Philip looks back at Katrina with a sigh. Stepping forward she speaks "Marvin... you're a young man now.. at the age of 13 I think you should know this.." she looks at Philip then back at Marvin "You're a magical being.. meaning that you could get hurt by those who find out other than us.." Marvin looks down at his hands then back at her "I..I.. why would they do such a thing?" he says with tears in his eyes shaking a bit. "Oh honey.." she pulls him close holding him tightly "I-I don't understand it either.. "she kisses the top of his head holding him tightly.

"Wow.. So brave of your parents to protect you like that Marvin.. they could have been killed" say's Dark looking at the cards. "Yes.. I am grateful for my parents now.. though it seemed I had other plans.." he pulls out a card "The World" he says placing it for them to see. "This is where my story goes dark.."
