(Keith's POV)

As I crashed onto the planet, I watched the Black Lion soar in the other direction. Along with Shiro.
I must've blacked out, because when I opened my eyes and looked around, I was somewhere completely knew, "You okay Red?"
I tried to move my controls, but they wouldn't budge, "Okay. We'll fix you up. We had a tough battle."
I walked out of the cockpit and exited my lion, getting a feel for where I was. All around me were rocks, boulders, and more boulders.
"Where are we?" I asked, "Where have we landed?"
Then it dawned on me, "Shiro... Shiro!"

I slid down Red and began to run out of the hole I had made in the crash.
"Shiro, can you hear me?" I asked through the com, "Shiro? Shiro, are you there?"
All I heard was static and continued to run. I needed to find him. I needed to know he was okay.
"Shiro, are you there? Answer me!" I yelled, "Shiro, it's Keith!"
Then the static began to break up, "Keith. Keith, I'm her-" Said Shiro, "I'm okay."
A wave of relief washed over me and I smiled, "Shiro, you made it."
He scoffed, "It takes more than a glowing alien wound, a fall from the upper atmosphere, and crashing into a hard pan surface, at what I'm guessing is about 25 meters per second squared, to get rid of me. How are you?"
"Not good." I responded, "My lion's busted. Wait, what wound?"
"It's nothing." He answered, but I could tell it wasn't nothing. By the sounds he was making, I could tell it hurt. A lot.
"Hang on," I told him, "I'm coming."
Through the static, I couldn't quite make out Shiro's tone, but it didn't sound happy.
"On second thought," He began, "You'd better hurry."

I activated my thrusters and began to move fast through the rock and debris.
"Shiro, what happened?" I asked.
He groaned, "There's several creatures."
I heard something loud behind me and turned to see a geyser shoot into the air. One by one, they all began to explode around me.
"Uh-oh." I said, starting to run from each blast.
After evading at least a dozen, I finally got thrown off a cliff by one. I turned my bayard into a katar and slammed it into the rock, stopping the fall.
"Keith, are you okay?" Asked Shiro, "What happened?"
"Minor delay," I said hanging from my bayard, "But I'm on my way." I activated my thrusters again and shot up out of the cliff, "How are you?"
He grunted, "I'm alright, but I'm trapped in a cave, and some nasty looking creatures have me cornered."
I pressed my lips together and looked around, "Stay put. I'm on my way. I just have to... figure this out."
I sighed and closed my eyes, "Patience yields focus."
"That really stayed with you, didn't it?" Asked Shiro.
I smiled, then it faded away, "You've given me some good advice. And Sarah reminded me 'Patience yields focus' when I was trying to find Red on the Galra ship. If it wasn't for you guys, my life would've been a lot different."
I kicked my foot into the ground and watched a geyser erupt.
"Yeah." Agreed Shiro. He sounded weak now, "You wouldn't have crashed a flying lion on an alien planet and be stuck with little hope of rescue. So, you're welcome." He paused, coughing, "We'll find her, Keith. I know we will. I'm not going to give up until I find my little sister. She needs us. She needs you."
I shut my eyes tightly and tried to get the thought of her out of my mind, I can't think of her right now.
"I know, Shiro. For all we know, she could be on the Castle safe with Allura and Coran."
He coughed again.
"Stay with me, Shiro." I told him.

I turned my bayard back into a katar, sliced the ground beneath me, and used the geyser to fly across the chasm. At first, It was working, but then the rock I had been standing on began to crumble up, getting closer to dust by the second. As I fell back into the chasm, I activated my thrusters and desperately flung my arms around, finally landing on the other edge. I groaned and pulled myself back up onto the other side.
"Keith!" Yelled Shiro, "Keith!"
"Hang on." I said through panting, "I'm on my way."
"Good, because these guys just started digging."
