At first, I didn't feel anything, then I felt something pulling me upward. When I opened my eyes I was hanging from the ceiling. Sand was sticking to the ceiling and holding me there. Vanilla Ice's stand went around the room after hitting the center and then it stopped on one of the rows it made. Vanilla Ice was released from his stand and stood on the broken floor. Blood was pooling from him and he struggled to walk. I looked over at Iggy to see him covered in sand and bleeding profusely. His breathing was getting shallow, and brisk.

" Polnareff, the blood that stains my body is Avdol's work, not yours. " He said looking at Polnareff.

Vanilla Ice's lungs were also losing air. He was having a hard time breathing since Polnareff pierced his throat.

" I was planning to eradicate you both simultaneously, but due to Avdol's intervention, your demise was postponed. Now, you've had another friend sacrifice themself for you. Usually, a person would save their own skin, and be selfish. What's so special that they wanted to keep you alive? "

" You killed Y/n. Even though Dio wanted her. "

" My Lord does not wish to kill her by his own hand. He has put his feelings aside for the battle ahead. He claimed that he couldn't kill her, but if someone else were to, he would be fine with it. He loves her to let her go but not kill her himself. "

" Too bad. . ." I said from the ceiling.

My blood dripped down to the floor, and Vanilla Ice looked up at me. I still felt weak, and my blood loss wasn't helping anything. Iggy's stand stuck to the ceiling and held me there.

" Y/n! " Polnareff shouted with a smile and more tears.

" Damn it, Iggy. You should have let me die. " I said.

Iggy was struggling to stay alive, and I could tell that his lungs were punctured and I couldn't save him. He wasn't going to make it. Tears started to leave my eyes, and I felt compelled to yell at him.

" Iggy! You're not just a filthy stray! You're not even a stray anymore! You were family as soon as you joined us on the mission, even when you refused to help, you were family to us. You have resolve and pride! "

Iggy looked up at me, and the dog smiled, before coughing up a large amount of blood and falling limp. The sand around me started feeling loose and I fell to the floor.

   " Iggy! "

   " Ig. . .Iggy! " Polnareff shouted.

Silver Chariot lunged at Vanilla Ice and grabbed his throat. Chariot stabbed Vanilla Ice's forehead and twisted his rapier through. Polnareff ran to me and picked me up from the floor.

" Start healing yourself, Y/n! I'm not losing you or anyone else!

I looked up at Polnareff to see more tears leaving his eyes. Gold Spirit appeared in front of me and started with the small wounds and worked her way to my large wounds.

" You're too slow for your own good, Vanilla Ice. But you know something? You're right, I have some pretty selfless friends, huh? I was supposed to look out for Iggy and Y/n, but instead, Y/n and Iggy both saved my ass. "

Silver Chariot grabbed his rapier from the other side of Vanilla Ice's head and turned his head around, at a one-hundred and eighty-degree angle. His eyes rolled to the back of his head, and he laid lifeless on the floor, but I knew better. Polnareff's eyes stuck on Iggy's lifeless form, and tears still spilled from his eyes. I could feel my own eyes water. Gold Spirit had healed everything on my legs, and my lungs from getting smashed to the floor. I left Polnareff's side and walked towards Vanilla Ice. I felt my Hamon charging up, and I prepared to finish him off before the shock wore off.
