Chapter 62

TimeSkip: 2 Weeks Later
Itome's Pov: 

I could see what Yuna was talking about now. Itsuki would constantly go to the bathroom and he would just silently shake in pain. Before we got out car mom and dad made us get the money beforehand. We ended up giving them our money even though they already bought it for us. 

I got a job at dollar tree, and he. He well got his money differently. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw that there was something wrong with him. He had all the symptoms when I looked it up. I know I shouldn't look up symptoms on google but I was really worried about him now. 

"Why are you still going to work? We got our car." 

"Just to have a little more money in my pocket." He said putting a jacket on. 

"Put gas in the car when you come home." I said reluctant. I was going to tell mom and dad what was really going on and what I was afraid of. 

"Alright." He left and I sighed. I waited 10 minutes after our car left the driveway. I got out of bed and knocked on my parents door. Mom said come in. I opened the door and saw them cuddling. 

"Mom, Dad this um very serious." I said. Mom sat up and sighed. 

"Is someone dying or is something on fire?" 

"Possibly. No." Dad sat up and I had both of their undivided attention. I took a deep breath and they saw the worried look on my face. 

"Itome what happened?" 

"I um this is about Itsuki's um job." Mom looked at me confused and I started playing with my fingers. 

"Itsuki's a prostitute and I think he has some type of std's." I said quickly and looking away from them. They were quiet and dad stood up. 

"When was this?" Dad said angry. Mom was in shock and then he started to hold his temple. 

"Um while we were getting money for our car." 

"Alright I- just- go to sleep thank you for telling us." Mom said. I nodded and went back to my room. 

TimeSkip: 2 Hours Later
Itsuki's Pov: 

I got home and parked the car in the driveway. I unlocked the door and saw dad sitting on the couch. Why was he sitting in the dark? Why was he even awake?

"Itsuki sit down." I tensed up from the base of his voice. When did dad get so serious? 

"Can I go change first?" 

"Go ahead." I went to our room and I saw Itome on his phone. 

"Oi what's going on with dad?" He didn't answer me and I saw his hearing aids were out. I hummed and changed into some pajamas'. I went back to the living room and sat beside dad. 

"How was work?" Dad said. 

"It- was um alright."

"Do you remember what your mom said to you when you were 7?" 

"Um to make sure Itome was okay?"

"Yeah, but he also said no sex until you were 18." My eyes widened and I covered my face. How did they find out? Wait. That asshole, Itome fucking told them. Why would he do that? 

"So if he said wait until you're 18, what makes you think you can go off and sex with multiple men while you're only 17?" I stayed quiet from him. 

"You're father asked you a question Itsuki." I flinched at mom being in the dark kitchen and put my head down. I felt the pain again I've been feeling all month and I held my stomach and I kept my head down. 

"Itsuki who knows what you could have. You could be pregnant you know." Mom said. I scoffed. 

 "I don't want either of you lecturing me about underage sex. I'm not dumb I know the age difference between you and Yoko." 

"That's exactly why, we know from firsthand experience." Mom walked over to me he grabbed my ear and pulled me up. He took off my shirt and I covered my face again. 

"Koutarou-san can you stay here and watch Itome. I'll take him to the hospital." 

"Okay." 

Mom dragged me to the car by my ear. We got to the doctor and he forced me to tell him and the doctor everything. It was so embarrassing. I was put in a hospital bed and had to take so many test. When everything was finished and we were waiting on the doctor for the results I saw that mom was crying. 

I felt terrible. The room was quiet so I could hear was what he was saying to himself. He told himself that he was a terrible mom, over and over. I felt so guilty and weak.

"Hey. Mom... I- I'm sorry. I know better to harm my health to get a car. I- I won't do it again. I promise, j-just please stop crying mom." 

He wiped his tears with his shirt and held my hand. The doctor came in seconds later with a nurse. 

"Your son has tested positive for syphilis. But luckily for him it's still in an early stage where it's completely curable and leaves no side effects." 

Mom let go of a deep breath. The nurse grabbed my arm and I saw she had a needle in her hand. She gave me a shot and the doctor explained what it was. They gave me some medicine that I was supposed to take every night, and told me to come back in two weeks for a check up. 

We left afterwards and I fell asleep in the car. It was close to 5 am. I was so weak and tired I didn't hear what mom was saying until he said I was grounded all summer.
