As Aurora stood up against her plate the rest of the strawberries vanished. She blinked twice stunned as just a second ago her plate was filled with the fruit of the earth. An immediate cough and choke could be heeded from Remus on her left. "Are you okay?" She said barely tapping his upper back.

Remus's side glanced at Aurora practically laughing. "Yes of course." He mumbled as an acknowledgment. Her fingers sent shivers up his skin.

She smiled kindly though soon faded as a seed from a strawberry emerged on his bottom lip. Her hands coated her mouth dramatically.  "No, it can't be!"

His rough thump cleared his lip, after looking at his misstep. The seed came into view instantly wiping it away. "Whatever do you mean?" Lupin returned happily. Hiding aspects was his go-to yet with her, he poured all his secrets too easily.

"You dare eat my strawberries and believe you can get away with it!" She teased with a scary smirk that Lupin watched out for in the past. At least one individual played along on her fun, unlike most.

"I guessed those were hardly on display for any to eat."

"Liar!"

"Remus never lies dear." Pomona budded in. The women always took his side on everything. Perhaps she had a crush on him.

"Unbelievable," Aurora whispered. Her head swiveled towards the front to witness schedules established around. "Why must you take his side in everything, I thought we were friends Pomona!" She rested her head on the table pouting.

Lupin enjoyed her sullen demeanor. "Perhaps it's my good looks or just possibly it is given I'm a finer skillful wizard." The look on his face was mischievous and sneaky. He knew very well she achieved more in life.

Severus sneered under his breath. Given the circumstances, he would have cast a quick spell to shut him up.

"I bet you can't close my mouth with a spell Mooney."

Her response sounded cheeky. Matters like these filled her with joy. It was like old times. Joke like children even if they weren't currently. Adult life felt ruthless. As if the gods preferred Aurora to have a hard life. Maybe she settled down today, however, a feeling in her gut told her she was in for the rocky ride. It frightened her nevertheless.

His hand grasped in his pockets but appeared with nothing. Wand took off without a trace. Hands patted the right pocket but arose in nothing. Lupin looked up shifting glances to see if he either dropped the wooden stick or layer it into the table. Yet, nothing transpired. The final pit stop arose to Aurora. Turmoil crossed his mind and skin as he overlooks the women. She sat crossed legs with his wand in one hand while a strawberry in the other. Severus witnessed her ability as he calculated her every move.

"How did you?-"

Remus questioned with a frown. That smile never left that tan skin of hers.

"I simply just removed it directly from your pockets." Aurora shrugged as if nothing emerged. Her tongue clicked humorously. "You must take better care of that wand." A trick her aunt used to teach her. The first step, distract the distractor. Barely speak loudly therefore another person buds in. As they begin to argue you ambush quietly and precisely. A memory flashed in her mind as her young self set many tricks on her old friends. Even Albus, though the man knew somehow so effortlessly.

The Professor rolled his eyes reaching for his wand but growled under his breath as she drew it closer to herself. A game of cat and mouse? "Not in front of the children Aurora. . ." As he finished his sentence Severus disgustingly gazed at Lupin.

Her full of mischief smirk never faded, thus soon turned to an unexpressive facade. "You might get your wand back." She said slowly, rising on her feet. Heels clicked the floor as she stood stepping back. "If you can catch me!" Her tone silently suggested for only Pomona, Lupin, and Severus to hear.
