Class ended shortly after, the situation transpired. Severus briefly explained the study of Strength Potion. It was a reasonable lecture perfect for the first years. Merely a few ingredients were required that turned into an orangey liquid. Aurora was relatively startled at The Potions Master's proficiency to talk so skillfully. She despised the hoarse voice that came out of him. If she wished to, a quick slumber could have taken place easily. Yet, that couldn't arise at all. Especially when she was going to seize his rude arse after the lesson.
Speaking of arse, she needed to stand so painfully but felt too humiliated as Severus constantly watched her during the student's time to brew.
As the bunch rammed out rapidly Severus closed the door locking it promptly. Her skin shivered as the room felt heavy. Perhaps is was her, as she can see the mania in his eyes. It was only them two after all.
"Is it necessary to lock the door Professor?"
Aurora sat at her tiny desk crossing her legs. She was waiting for a lecture of some kind to occur.
His back was still facing her as Severus stared at the doorknob. The lean tall body stood properly.
"When in my classroom, yes."
He was mad. No scratch that. He was bloody furious. It was quite funny, to say the least. That glare of his might shut anyone but not Aurora. She would never submit the nervousness to give him the satisfaction. Aurora could see it in his eyes that he so badly wanted to scare her. Finally, Severus maneuvered his way in front of her. The heat radiated off each other yet the walls were freezing between them.
"What were you thinking demonstrating the act of throwing a knife in front of children. Did you honestly suspect I wouldn't find out?" Severus growled pointing his fingers at Aurora like a child being yelled at.
Her eyes rolled. "Get that finger out my face for Merlin's sake. Would you please calm down, Albus used to let me throw knives all the time. I wanted the children to get more comfortable so I displayed my little forte." She could almost laugh at his eyes narrowing. "Plus you weren't present yet." A quick last response escorted out.
Severus noticed her shoulders shrug. How could this lengthy woman with long arms throw a dagger perfectly? Maybe he needed to see it himself. Don't give her the satisfaction.
But it was too late.
"Preform your foolish specialty and I'll determine if I will seize this up to Albus Ms. Pierce." He scanned her face one last time before strolling his way to the desk. Severus's chair squeaked as he spread his legs apart professionally while folding his hands.
Aurora watched his action and arched her brows in a bothered way. "Why ought to drag my last name so dramatically."
"I have no time for aggravating women. Hurry up." This time he crossed his arms, hair fanned still around his face. He desperately needed a haircut.
This would be interesting considering she'd rather have the man stand in the middle of the board. She guessed he would to fine sitting.
"Eyes closed or open, or my back facing the board," Aurora questioned throwing her knives on her table effortlessly.
His forehead furrowed. She was such a peculiar woman. Back facing the board? That seemed somewhat of a challenge.
"Whatever you desire Ms.Pierce. Be quick, I have lessons to organize and I'm certain you do too."
"As you wish." She mumbled throwing the dagger with her eyes closed. It performed beautifully and a perfect angle for Severus to observe. The blade glided, rotating at the white mark waiting to be impacted. Time must have gone slow as Severus watched in deliberate motion. How was it possible for him to eye the knife entirely? It visioned altogether without him blinking.
