Morning equals pain. Well, that's what Aurora thought. Waking up felt like bags of sand pounded on top of her. It was heavy. It was an everyday routine. You wake up and put on a happy face to show people your life is together. The funny thing is it's not. It's like a wave of sadness hits you and you realize no one can help but yourself. Aurora's morning thoughts get to her. Bright sunshine rises and she can feel the heat radiating off her body and lids. Clean sheets and pillows fill her body with her silk hair covering the face.
Staying asleep could be the only option until she smelt the bacon and toast running along with her nose. Oh, that pleasant smell. No, she could not eat even if she wanted to. She would simply just give Luna the proper company and have a nice conversation.
Severus. She disregarded he was with her too along with that filthy attitude of his. She had a headache every moment the man spoke and even his presence in general. It was infuriating and she was sure he felt the same way. Do this for Albus and the kids to remember. Sighing to herself she decided to get up. Still in her silk gown showing more than expected she made her way downstairs. She heard distant voices coming from the kitchen. Rusty long stairs squeaking every little step you take would no doubt wake the whole house. Once she made it to the bottom the voices stopped.
Wandering way to the comfy small kitchen her sister always loved. Luna standing over the counter pouring coffee as usual and Severus there sitting on the small kitchen table reading like the nerd he always is. Aurora didn't mean it rudely, she was a bookworm herself but seeing Severus made her blood boil like always.
"Good morning mom and dad." Aurora grinned taking a seat across from Severus.
Luna made a loud laugh while Severus still had a cold stone-faced. Aurora knew he was hiding a chuckle but did not comment to say something.
"Well good morning daughter I hope you had a pleasant sleep." Luna leered with a friendly fashion looking between Severus and Aurora not realizing yet that Aurora still had her silk gown on.
"I did thank you very much."
Aurora couldn't understand why Luna was staring between her and Severus. Oh Merlin, does she think there's something between us. Pulling those thoughts aside she decided not to say anything to Severus but look at him while pulling out a cigarette.
Severus knew Aurora was staring at him but decided to keep reading his book. Once Luna was finished she set aside the plates and filled them up with bacon, eggs, and toast.
"Alright, breakfast is ready!! Luna spoke cheerfully. As soon as she looked up at her sister anger build up inside. "AURORA DIDN'T I TELL YOU NOT TO SMOKE IN THE HOUSE AND WHY HAVEN'T YOU PUT SOME PROPER CLOTHES ON!"
"Give me a break please I already have to deal with a child," Aurora advised lifting a finger in Severus's direction. She knew this was going to piss him off but she needs some fun in the morning.
