She's working at the Pyramid tonight

Stevie's job site was in an underground tomb that had recently been found outside of the city. She had initially helped to string up lights so everyone could see. Her work eventually progressed to her being allowed to dust old sand off of things.

"Hey Dr. Scott," Stevie greeted her boss when she got to the site on Monday. "Have you seen Jodi yet? I still haven't seen her since I left her at the club Friday night."

"Oh, don't worry about that, I saw her," he said, facing the corner. "She's come down with some kind of illness and we can't risk her contaminating us or the artifacts."

"Oh. I wish I had known earlier," Stevie said. She thought Dr. Scott was acting very... off. He was usually a kind fatherly type, but today he sounded creaky and was slouching around in a dark corner. And he smelled really bad. He hadn't yet even turned around to face her. "I'd like to bring her some soup or something."

"A young woman with a nice supple body like yours shouldn't waste her energy on such things," Dr. Scott sneered.

"EXCUSE ME?" Stevie said.

"I've been watching you young ladies," he said. Stevie then noticed that none of the other workers had shown up yet, either.

"I believe you have something that Lord DIO wants!" he spat out, turning around to reveal his face was a gray shade, like a dead body. His lips curled to reveal fangs, and he had long, claw-like fingernails.

"AHHHHH!" Stevie shrieked

"DIO sama will be very pleased to suck your beautiful blood," Dr. Scott said and lunged at her.

He suddenly stopped in his tracks, walked to pick up a shovel that was leaning on the wall, and whacked himself in the face with it. He fell down, unconscious.

"My fortune is coming true," Stevie whispered to herself before turning around and running outside.
