A/n alright yall, i cant wait to release this chapter so here ya go ! Happy weekend 😁

Stevie was stirred awake by a muscular arm pulling her into a cuddle. His rough face nuzzled into her neck, causing Stevie to grin with her eyes closed. She relaxed into the embrace and rested a hand on his hip.

"Mmm Suzie Q, I could eat your meatballs all day..." he dream-mumbled into Stevie's ear.

Wait... SUZIE Q? BEARDED FACE? This wasn't Jotaro's bed...

Stevie's eyes shot open to look right at Joseph Joestar, who was rocked awake by Stevie sitting up frantically. His eyes blinked open and he started to yell, "OH M..." but Stevie clamped her hand over his mouth.

"Wrong bed," Stevie whispered in a panic and removed her hand from his mouth, feeling his plump lips brush her fingers.

Joseph nodded, and moving like a ninja, he silently rolled out of bed and swooped Stevie up at the same time. He lifted her up and gently placed her on the empty top bunk she couldn't reach last night. They shared a long, silent gaze before Joseph sighed deeply and shook his head. He turned around and left the room.

Stevie looked at the other bunks, which all still held their companions... except for Avdol.

Jotaro was passed out on his stomach, still in a drunken slumber and drooling on himself. Polnareff was sleeping in the fetal position, his face puffy from crying last night. And Kakyoin looked like a sleeping angel.

Ok, that could have been worse, Stevie thought. Avdol had the most mature personality, and he was the most likely to keep a secret. Joseph's probably talking to him right now, she thought, still feeling butterflies from waking up in his embrace.

Joseph sat down next to Avdol, who was drinking coffee on the upper deck of the ferry. The fortune teller smirked at the old man and poured him a mug of coffee from the carafe.

"I don't know what to say," Joseph said.

"That's a first," Avdol joked. "Let's just agree, I didn't see anything. It's obviously a misunderstanding, but I imagine our companions might think otherwise." He smirked.

"Avdol," Joseph rested his head in one hand, eyes closed, "you're the best."

"I know," he said matter-of-factly. "Last night was a shit show. Polnareff ended the night by crying about how we're all going die. But I didn't just tell you that." He sipped his coffee.

"I'm feeling pretty slow today," Joseph admitted. "Actually I feel like a dog's ass."

"I bet everyone is hungover today."

"Hi guys," Stevie walked over with her blanket wrapped around her as barricade against the ferry wind. "Do you mind if I have a seat?"

Avdol motioned for her to sit and poured her a coffee.

She took a sip and closed her aching eyes. "Joseph," she began, eyes still closed. An extended silence lingered between them before she spoke up again. "I was drunk and couldn't get up to my bunk last night, and I couldn't really see in the dark, and I thought you were Jotaro," she let the words ease out of her chest with a deep exhale. So embarrassing, she thought.

"I guess I should take that as a compliment!" Joseph said reassuringly, though his heart sank. It really was an accident. She meant to get in bed with Jotaro. Ouch. "Let's forget it ever happened. Avdol, too."

Avdol nodded and sipped his coffee. Stevie leaned her face into her hand in embarrassment. "Thanks," she said and wrapped the blanket tighter around her. Joseph eyed her blanket and fought the urge to nestle himself inside it with her. A strong gust of wind rustled his hair.
