They met outside their rooms after grabbing what little things they had.

"Polnareff, Stevie," Avdol looked them up and down, "You're both wearing white pants. I'm afraid it's best if you remove them. We can't use flashlights as we exit the train and make our way into the woods, or we'll be seen. Same goes for white pants."

"Ah, Avdol, didn't see enough of my underwear in our room the past couple days?" Polnareff joked and began to strip his white jeans off.

"Errm.. I uh, I can't take my pants off," Stevie said. "I'm not... wearing underwear." She stared at the floor and felt heat rising to her cheeks. "If I wear underwear with these pants, they show right through."

Avdol raised his eyebrows, his forehead wrinkling and eyes widening.

Polnareff stopped removing his pants mid-leg. "Mademoiselle!" he growled playfully, while Joseph smirked and Kakyoin facepalmed.

Jotaro snuck away and quickly reappeared. "Put this on," he said as he ripped a hole in the end of a large black pillow case. "And put some underwear on."

"Oi, where's mine?" Polnareff asked, and Jotaro threw him his own pillowcase skirt.

They marched silently into the woods, their path illuminated by nothing but moonlight. Less than an hour ago, Stevie had awaken in the dream world of Jotaro's arms. She wished she could turn back the clock and once again lay in that cramped train bed with Jotaro, pretending her life wasn't a roller coaster made of vampires and stands.

Jotaro was thinking about how they had both fallen asleep reading a manga together. He thought it was pretty cute, but would take that feeling to the grave.

They made their way through the dark, dense forest until they reached a river. "It's nearly 2am," Joseph said, audibly tired. "I think we can set up camp here and get some rest until the morning."

"You guys just sleep on the ground?" Stevie asked.

"We use sleeping bags," Kakyoin said. Stevie then realized she was the only one who wasn't prepared to sleep outside.

"I, uh... I don't have a sleeping bag," she said meekly, feeling her tiredness weigh her eyes down. She fiddled with the hem of her pillowcase skirt.

"We can share, Mademoiselle," Polnareff purred.

"That's not necessary. She can have mine. I will sleep without one," Avdol offered. Kakyoin looked on shyly and tired, not wanting to enter this chivalry contest.

"She's sharing with me," Jotaro asserted himself.

"That's not necessary," Joseph butt in, sweat forming on his temple "Avdol already offered..."

"Oi Jiji, you bought me a double wide sleeping bag, remember?" Jotaro said plainly.

"Well I bought it before I came to Japan and wasn't sure how much you'd grown! Your mother said you had grown into quite a large young man so I wanted to be sure...." Joseph trailed off as he began thinking about Holly and her illness. The mention of her seemed to reconnect the men and remind them of why they were really out trekking through Thai forests in the middle of the night.

"Miss Holly..." Avdol muttered.

"I'd really like to see her again," Kakyoin said wistfully. The five men solemnly set up their sleeping bags, Jotaro unrolling his to show how massive it really was. "We'll both fit," he said, "if that's ok with you."

Stevie nodded, trying not to look too excited to get back in the hunky arms she had found herself in earlier.
