( This is a pretty long chapter, and I'm actually pretty proud of it. Tell me what you guys think! )
A young women leaned forward to her blind date, giggling childishly. The male smirked, caressing her cheek a bit.
"How are you feeling, love?" He asked, trying not to back off due to the alcohol that now lingered on her breath.
She hiccuped, leaning into the palm of his hand. "This was one of the best blind dates I've ever had!" She exclaimed, giddy that she might have found the one.
Tsk, tsk. How wrong she was.
"I'm very glad, although you look quite ill, must be from the alcohol." He chuckled, waving a waiter over so he could pay the check.
He then helped the lady up after he had finished paying. "Let's take you home, would you mind telling me your address?" He asked softly, although the girl was already knocked out, snoring away.
He gritted his teeth, walking out of the restaurant. It was now dark outside, and the drug he had placed in her alcohol should take effect in a few hours.
He needed to get her home.
"Tch, what a nuisance." He muttered underneath his breath, his act fading away. He didn't need her address anyways, he already knew it.
But, she wouldn't have time to question why the male had known because she'll be dead before the sun began to rise the next day.

"Just last night another strange murder case took place in the city of Tokyo. How many time has this been, Aoi?"
"Quite too many times to count. We're truly hoping that these strange occurrences will come to a stop, and that it will be solved soon. Citizens please stay safe and avoid going late at night."

"This has been the third time this week." Akifumi groaned, weaving his hand through his hair. Stressed, and confused.
This was one of the most complicated case they've ever gotten. No killer was as intelligent and calculating as the one who was behind this case.
It was as if they had planned this for years and decided to occasionally strike during these past few months, or even maybe longer.
It was starting to get out of hand as well. Especially because it seemed like they targeted a specific person. Though other times it seemed to be just random civilians.
It was a havoc. A pain to think about. Akifumi wished (m/n) was here, but as soon as they had talked just yesterday the man had immediately packed and left to Kamakura.
"Ahh.. we really need more help around here" He sighed, opening his drawer filled with documents, as he started his own work for the day.
(M/N)'s 3rd POV :
The train ride from Tokyo to Kamakura took about an hour or so. It hadn't taken as long as (m/n) expected.
Currently, he was staying in a small hotel getting ready to head out to find Dr. Yama.
He had arrived in this small town pretty late at night, he had already expected that he would since he had left Tokyo at about 6 PM.
It was currently about 8 AM right now, he had woken up early to get ready and get a small meal. Now he just needed his wallet, and phone then he'd be good to go.
