"Don't you think I know that?!" She screamed, dropping to the floor causing Tae to run beside her, joining her on the floor as she sobbed in his arms. "I had to do it Tae. Even if it is tearing me up inside. I had to show him that what he's doing is not okay."

"So what's your plan? In the long run I mean? You will eventually need to tell him you're pregnant. He has a right to know."

Lifting her head, she looks at him as he unconsciously wipes away her tears, giving her a small smile as she puffs out her cheeks.

"I tried to tell him. On Valentine's Day. Right before he ran out the door and left me. I will tell him, I'm just not ready to see him yet. It hurts too much, even thinking about facing him terrifies me."

"He's devastated." Tae whispers, pushing her hair from her face. "He says his life's over."

"The feeling's mutual." She sighs before climbing out of his arms. "I'm going to take a nap. I need to work tonight."

"Do you think that's wise?"

"I can't just hide away for the rest of my life. I need some normalcy."

"I'll be right here when you wake up." He smiles softly. "I'll take you to work tonight."

Leaving him in the kitchen, she climbed into her old  bed alone for the first time in over a year, the sheets still holding the scent of the man she missed the most. When she had the chance, she needed to change her sheets to fresh ones.

Looking down on Jimin as he continued to sob, the rest of the guys didn't know what to do other than watch. He was a broken man and nothing they could do or say would fix him. If only he had listened to them, this could have all been avoided but they thought it better not to mention that. It's not kind to kick a man when he's down.

"Did Taehyung find her?" He sniffed, lifting his head to look at Namjoon who was crouched beside him. "Tell me she's safe."

"She's at home." Jungkook speaks up, earning a glare from the others. "Tae just texted me."

"I need to see her." Jimin choked out, stumbling to his feet only to be grabbed by Namjoon as he stumbled into him.

"I don't think that's a good idea."

"Why not?" Jimin whined, trying to get out of his grasp only to fall back to the ground.

"Because you're piss drunk." Yoongi scoffed. "Don't add alcoholic to the list of reasons why she shouldn't be with you. Get your fucking shit together and then maybe we will let you within a mile of her. But right now dude, you're not going anywhere near her."

"You can't stop me from seeing my fiancée!"

"Try me." Yoongi grinned. "And news flash Jimin, she's not your fiancée anymore."

"Okay Yoongi." Jin seethed as he helped a sobbing Jimin back up off the floor. "You don't need to be so harsh. He's hurting enough as it is."

"Come on bud, let's sober you up." Hobi smiles at him, handing him a glass of water before they take him into the living room and helping him down onto the sofa.

They did feel bad for him, but they couldn't go against Y/N. She had obviously made this drastic decision for a reason and they couldn't go against her by trying to convince her to forgive him. They had tried and he didn't want to hear it, Tae had warned him that this was a possibility but now seeing him so broken as it was now his reality, they could only hope that he would get himself together and be the man that Y/N had agreed to marry.

Driving her to work in silence, Taehyung was fighting with himself not to fire the million questions at her that he had firing around in his mind.

Everything was still fresh and he knew it would take time for her to be able to talk about the serious things. But that wasn't something she had right now. Time. She had exactly eight months to get her life together, to figure out exactly what it was that she wanted. Would she ever get back together with Jimin? Was she planning on just simply co parenting? Was their child going to be growing up in two separate households? If he was thinking these things, he could only imagine what was going on in her head.

"Gorgeous." Tae spoke up as she hummed in response, keeping her focus out of the window. "Your first appointment at the doctors is next week. Did you want me to go with you or...?"

"I want Jimin to be there." She says softly. "We may no longer be in a relationship but like you said, he's the father. I want him there every step of the way. No matter how awkward it may be."

"That's good." He nodded. "So, how are you going to break the news to him?"

"You think I'm making a mistake, don't you?" She mumbles. "You can say it. If my best friend won't tell me the truth, then who will?"

Glancing at her before pulling over to the side of the road, Tae doesn't fail to notice the gloss in her eyes. He knows she's in pain, anyone in her situation would be. But there is no clear cut instructions in the bestie manual for things like this.

"I think your decision was a little hasty, yes. But I don't know what's going on in your head or your heart. All I can do is be here for you with my hand outstretched for you to grab any time you need to. But I told you before gorgeous, I'm too young to be an uncle. I don't know how much help I'll be in the baby department."

"I know it sounds selfish. But I don't want him to get his shit together just because I'm pregnant. I want him to do it because he can't be without me. But I'm not going back to him. Not yet. I don't want him to think that he can do the things he's doing and it will only take two days for me to go right back to him. He needs to see the damage he's caused. And he has until September to prove himself."

"That's not selfish at all." Tae smiles at her, reaching over to wipe away the stray tear that's cascading down her cheek. "But he has a right to know. I'm sure if he knows there's a chance that you may go back to him eventually, he will get his shit together real fast."

"Then take me to him." She sighs, wiping her own face and sitting up straight.

"Now?!" Tae shrieks, looking at her as she nods sharply.

"There's no point in prolonging the inevitable."
