With Jimin so abruptly announcing that he needed to go out on business, Y/N found herself at odds. She didn't want to tell him no, you can't go. Not with her already asking him to give up on one of his careers already.
Jimin had assured her it would be the last time for a long while. Promising that once he had gotten what he needed to do out of the way, that it would be nothing but baby time, and that he wouldn't leave her side again for a long while.
So she reluctantly agreed. It didn't mean she wasn't scared though. She kept imagining herself going into labour as soon as he stepped onto his flight and she couldn't reach him on his cell. She was having nightmares about giving birth in the kitchen with no one but the chef she wasn't a fan of being there to help her.
After everything that had happened with Tae and Jungkook, Jimin was a little apprehensive about asking him to keep an eye on Y/N. But with her insisting on still going to work even though she was two weeks away from her due date, he felt he had no choice in the matter.
Tae assured him that he was back to his old self and would die before he let anything bad happen to his best friend. So with a heavy heart, Jimin boarded the plane, taking the last step he needed to, to be able to give Y/N and Bun everything they deserved and needed.
It was now the second night that Jimin had been out of town and Y/N was still standing behind the bar of the club as Tae sat on a bar stool watching her like a hawk. Although he said he would look out for her, the thought of her going into labour and him being her only source of comfort scared the absolute shit out of him.
She enjoyed the game she was playing with him however. Hissing every so often just to watch his soul leave his body in blind panic.
"You need to stop doing that!" He hissed as she did it again whilst reaching up to grab a bottle of liquor from the top shelf. Her face was stretched out with a wide grin as she rolled her eyes at him.
She was secretly hoping to go into labour in front of him just for the sheer entertainment.
"You're such a fucking woose."
"I am not!" Tae protested. "I took a punch to the face from Kookie!"
"Yeah and fucking cried about it. Baby."
"Witch!"
"Adulterer!"
"Will you two shut the fuck up?!"
Looking over at Yoongi scowling at them from across one of the poker tables, they both let out a childish giggle and grinned at one another.
"It's starting." Jungkook called out, reaching for the universal TV remote and flicking all of them over to ESPN.
The World Series of Poker was this weekend, and of course being the largest poker club in town, the event drew a lot of interest to your place, filling it with spectators for the big game.
