After the disastrous night at the club, Y/N decided to keep her feelings towards Jimin. Again blaming it on the fact that he must be stressed.

But she couldn't get rid of that niggling feeling inside of herself. Especially after Tae said what he did last night 'I think he has a problem.'

She could see it. Of course she could. She had been trained to spot the signs. And the fact that Jimin was heading down that road terrified her. The hardest thing to do with someone that you think may have a gambling problem, is to bring it up.

No one likes to hear that they may be addicted to something. Especially if it's something that isn't harming their body. They see it as 'if it's not hurting anybody then what does it matter?'

But it does matter.

It starts with one more $20, one more game, one more night out at the casino. Then it becomes one more $1000. Then they are chasing a loss they will never gain back and they have lost everything, including the people closest to them.

But Y/N won't let it get that far, not with the love of her life.

After calling Tae the next day and apologizing profusely, she managed to convince him to get the rest of the guys involved. He agreed to talk to Jimin. They all love him and she knows that none of them want to see him go on a downward spiral. Tae especially because it involved her.

Gathering them all at his house, Tae called Jimin over with the promise of a game of poker knowing that it would be the only thing to get him out of the house easily.

"So is this some sort of intervention?" Hobi asked as he walked into Tae's house with the rest of the men following behind.

Greeting them all one by one, Tae followed them into his living room taking a seat on the sofa as they waited for the plan of action.

"It's getting bad." Tae said with worry. "He snapped at me when I told him he couldn't play at the club."

"I hope you punched him." Yoongi scoffed, earning a nod from the other guys.

"I actually came close."

Tae was ashamed of the fact that he almost attacked his friend but he had always been protective of his best friend and even though she said he wasn't like that with her, he couldn't help but feel she was lying to protect her fiance. He knows she would say anything to make him look like the sweet Jimin they all knew him as. It would be embarrassing for her to admit that everything wasn't perfect when she was planning on marrying the man.

Looking around the room as he heard a knock at the door, Tae took a calming breath before standing and walking towards the door.

On the other side was an eager Jimin. He was excited that he didn't have to travel far to find a decent game of poker. With thousands of dollars stuffed in his pocket, he was more than prepared.

But as he walked into the living room after Tae had let him inside, he could instantly feel the tense atmosphere filling him with dread. He was expecting them to tell him someone had died by the sombre looks on their faces.

"Take a seat Jimin." Tae sighed, walking past him and taking a seat of his own.

"What's going on?" Jimin frowned, slowly taking a seat noticing that they were all turning to face him.

"How's the poker tournaments treating you lately?" Namjoon asked, making everyone relieved that he would be the one to get the ball rolling. "I hear you've been playing a lot lately."

"Really well actually." Jimin grinned, glad that the conversation went straight to poker. "I'm sure you've seen me on TV a lot."

"We have." Jungkook nodded before swallowing the lump in his throat. "And the cash games? They're going well too?"

"Not too bad I suppose." Jimin frowned as he looked around the room. "What's going on here?"

"Jimin you have a problem and you need to short your shit out before you lose everything, including Y/N."

Everyone glared at Yoongi for being so blunt. They were hoping to ease into that part of the intervention, and it seems like Yoongi had other plans.

"I don't have a problem." Jimin laughed. "Is this what is going on here? You all think I have a gambling problem?"

"We don't think it Jimin. It's obvious and the fact that you can't see it is alarming. Just because you can afford to lose, it doesn't mean you should. Did you know that Y/N is struggling at the club?"

Cocking his eyebrow at Jimin as the harsh words left his mouth, Yoongi was already at the end of his tether. Jimin could run himself into the ground for all he cared, but he was sure as hell not going to let him take Y/N with him.

"Y/N is fine." Jimin grumbled, narrowing his eyes at Yoongi.

"Is she?!" Tae snapped, already having enough. "What happened last night? Why was she made to go out in the snow to get the rum she had asked you for?"

"I was busy!"

"Playing fucking poker!" Tae yelled, rising from his seat causing Jimin to do the same.

As the tension in the room rose, all of the men in the room found themselves on edge as they all stood waiting for one of them to finally snap. Tae was only looking out for his best friend. Sick of seeing her suffer in silence, he had enough of being kind, he would beat the addiction out of Jimin if he needed to.

"You need to keep your nose out of my fucking relationship Taehyung." Jimin seethed, pointing a harsh finger at him. "Y/N and I are solid!"

"Oh yeah?" Tae laughed in a condescending tone. "Why don't you ask her how solid she thinks you two are? At this point I'd be shocked if there even is a wedding."

"JUNE 12TH!" Jimin screamed, lunging forward only to be stopped by the firm chest of Jungkook.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Jungkook growled.

Staring at each other in a showdown, they knew there was no way either of them would come to a mutual agreement.

Tae hated that Jimin wasn't hearing him. He considered Jimin a brother and he knew that he was destroying himself. But you can't help someone that doesn't want to be helped.

Shrugging Jungkook's arms away from him, Jimin took a glance around the room, seeing all eyes on him. Each one of them reflecting nothing but pity.

"Fuck this." He hissed, turning on his heel and storming back out of the house.

Letting him leave, they all released a breath as the door slammed behind him.
