Y/N and Jimin asked their friends to give them a couple of days to settle in with their baby girl before they came to visit. Of course they were all very understanding. All bar Tae who thought it was his right as an uncle to be able to hold her as soon as she came into the world.
But a scolding from the new momma bear set him straight real fast.
Y/N was taking to motherhood like a duck to water. As if being a mom was her calling all along.
Jimin was doing everything he could to make sure that his girls had everything they needed and were comfortable. He often found himself just staring at the two of them in awe, amazed by how even though he never thought he could love anything more than Y/N, he quickly realised that he would kill for his daughter.
After their mishap with the miscarriage two years prior, Jimin had settled on the fact that maybe children wasn't on the cards for him. And after losing everything for that short amount of time when he found himself deep in addiction, he knew that the scene in front of him of Y/N nursing his first born child was enough to deter him away from anything remotely close to putting him back into that situation ever again.
Smiling softly at Jimin as he joined her in the nursery, Y/N glanced down at their child suckling away with her eyes firmly shut before letting out a contented sigh.
"Hi my beautiful girls." Jimin cood, kissing them both on the forehead before settling down on the floor in front of the rocking chair Y/N was sitting in. "I spoke to our parents. They said they will give us another week to settle in before they come to visit."
"That's good." Y/N smiled. "Did you send them the photos?"
"A whole zip file." Jimin grinned as he sat up on his knees to look at his daughter. "I can't get over how much she looks like you. It's terrifying."
"Terrifying?" Y/N giggled with knitted eyebrows. "Why?"
"Because I'm going to have to be fighting the boys off with a stick."
Grinning at the sound of the front gates opening, Y/N turned her head to look out of the window to see four cars pulling into the driveway.
"They're here." She breathed out, looking down on her daughter still feeding.
"Stay here baby." Jimin told her as he rose to his feet, kissing her firmly on the lips before turning towards the door. "Come down when she's ready. The guys can wait."
"Ok." Y/N sighed, looking down at her daughter again. "I love you Jiminie."
Grinning at her words, Jimin jogged back into the room and landed her lips against hers once more, savouring the moment before pulling away again with a soft smile as he held her face.
"And I love you. Both of you."
The baby only fed for a further ten minutes. Which was good because she could already hear Tae fussing downstairs in anticipation, excited to meet the new member of their ever growing fucked up family for the first time.
