Guard Dogs

Alright, sorry for a delayed release; I spent a few days planning the rest of the story. I'm excited to have an overall plan now! Hope you guys enjoy, and if you like JJK you should read my Nanami fic 😉

"So, you're sticking with that? People are talking about the noises you two made-"

"Quiet!" Erwin snapped. They were walking to the stables together to leave for a meeting with Pyxis. The sun was bright in the sky above them.

Levi lowered his voice to a whisper with a glare. "The noises," he hissed, "that you two made, and you expect me to believe nothing happened?"

Erwin took a deep breath, followed by a deeper sigh. "Fine. I was in her room, and she slept in mine..." His voice got quieter until he was mumbling.

Even Levi's usually bored face was shocked. His pace slowed as he processed Erwin's confession. Meanwhile, Erwin walked ahead as they neared the stable. Before Levi could recover and respond, a cackle erupted from the stables.

"Man! I knew she got around!" A man's voice shouted.

"She could at least tell us beforehand, so we can enjoy the show." A second man chimed in.

Now Erwin was frozen in place. Levi tensed; he knew people were gossiping, but he didn't think it was this bad. He had no idea how Erwin would react. In all the time Levi had known Erwin, he had never been serious about a woman. Especially never serious enough for him to even consider dating a Scout.

"How does anybody even talk to her? She's always in that damn lab," a third man asked.

Levi was mentally preparing himself to deal with three idiots.

"I knooow," the second man whined. "And Reiner won't even let us look at her in the gym."

The other two groaned their agreements.

"I'm just saying," the first voice came up again, "I could have her choking on my dick in three minutes flat."

"Is it even worth it if she's gonna give it to anyone?" The third man asked.

Levi could see Erwin shaking in front of him. His fists were clenched at his sides, but he didn't move forward.

He's still listening?? Levi knew this conversation was only going to get worse. How long before he loses his cool?

"Hey, I'll fuck a whore, too. I don't care." The first man responded.

Erwin finally moved as the three cadets laughed in the stables. Levi lunged forward. He could tell from the way Erwin's head twitched ever so slightly to the right as he walked forward that he had snapped. Erwin never lost his composure, even in a battle. But that little twitch was his tell. It let Levi know that Erwin was acting on instinct alone, and if he did that now, towards his own cadets...

Stop him. Stop him. I have to stop him.

Levi took his brief running start, then threw his entire body against Erwin's side. Erwin fell onto his chest and hands with Levi on his back. Levi only had a split second of surprise to get an up on Erwin before he would toss Levi off. He wrenched Erwin's left arm behind his back and pressed his forearm into Erwin's neck. He glared up at Levi.

"You cannot fight these cadets."

Erwin huffed and began to squirm.

"Let me deal with them." Levi was struggling to keep him down. "Don't expose you and Y/N."

Before Erwin could wriggle from Levi's grasp, they heard a yell from the other end of the stable.

"OI!" The voice hollered. "What the fuck did you say about Y/N?"
