Later that night, you're slowly drifting off to sleep when you have a sudden urge to use the bathroom once again; oh the joy of pregnancy symptoms. You quietly make your way out of the cabin to the restroom area, the whole time wondering how a baby the size of a strawberry is fucking with your bladder so much.

Once you finish, you start to head back towards the cabin when you hear voices coming from the docks. You're not one hundred percent sure, but you think one of the voices sounds familiar. You peek over the side of the Damnation's railing and see two figures; unfortunately their faces are hidden by the shadows of the other ships and by giant cargo crates on the docks. You strain your ear to make out what they're saying.

"Has the Dawn Spear returned yet?"

"Nay, and it ain't coming back. Captain Redbark was after the Fountain of Youth. He headed north two months ago to find Atlantis. The Tritons probably sunk his ship by now."

"Ye old drunk! Don't tell me yer actually believing that fisherman's tale."

"It's the truth! Got any other ideas why ships are disappearing in Dead Man's Waters, if not the Tritons?"

"But no one has seen Atlantis! Surely you can't believe it exists?"

"Aye I do, but no one has lived to tell the story. The only way a ship won't get sunk out there is if it has a descendant on it. The Tritons are desperate to break the curse, but they can't find the two descendants anywhere."

You gasp as you realize,

It wasn't just Magdalena and her descendants who were cursed. All of Atlantis fell under a curse too!

Your heart breaks as you think of the Tritons, suffering because your ancestor stole the Fountain of Youth's ruby. You turn back to the conversation between the two men.

"Again mate, it's a nice story but it ain't true."

"That ain't even the half of it. Both the descendants were at one point sailing under Poseidon's Revenge. I heard one of 'em is still with Mortemer; real bonny lass apparently. Wonder what flag they be flying under now since the Admiral destroyed the Revenge?"

"I don't know, but at least the Admiral is gone for good."

"The descendants were responsible for his demise too. Who knows what powers they have and what they're capable of."

I'm surprised how quickly word of our crew's triumph over the Admiral traveled. And how do these men know so much about me and Robert? That's a little strange.

"Well, why yer chasing legends I'm going to tell ye about the real news coming from London; there's a new commodore and it's Cochrane's boy."

Wow! Word of Oliver's promotion spread fast, too.

"Just what we need, another navy dog in these waters."

"Aye, but here's the best part. His majesty's best exploration ships, the Crowning Star, and the Tinsel Mary haven't returned yet. He sent them up north to try to claim more land for England, but they haven't been in touch in over a month. The commodore has been sent to figure out what happened up there and to find the ships."

"But then the commodore will be lost too; ships never return from up there."

Oh no! Oliver! He's in danger.

"I know, ain't it great? Even though I don't believe in the Tritons, the fact is the northern islands are a ship graveyard and that navy dog is sailing right into it."

"Soon it'll be pirates that own the seas, and the navy will be a distant memory."

The two men laugh as they walk away, while you try to process what you just heard.

We have to get to Atlantis first; hopefully the Tritons will listen to me, and not hurt Oliver. We have to save him and break the curse, but we got to move fast.
