Chapter-8: Changed behaviour

They all listen Nandini's shout and ran towards her and saw her fall on ground unconscious as her head hit the railing of stairs.

All (shout): Nandini/Nandu/bhabz.....

Manik goes towards her and take her head in his lap.

Manik(tapping her cheeks): Nandini open ur eyes Nandini....

Neyonika(hurriedly): manik take her to room and I'll call doctor....

Manik take her in his arms and goes goes towards their room while others follow them.

After sometime in Manan room,

Doctor: Don't worry she will be up in some time as the injury on head is not that much she just got unconscious due do sudden hit and just make her rest for atleast one week because she got sprain in her right leg and I also recommend you to come tomorrow for X-ray just for check. Give her these medicines when will she up and also don't stress her mentally and also not stress her leg. Now I will take a leave.....

Cabir: come doctor I will drop you...

Doctor left with cabir while in the room.

Neyonika carees Nandini's hair and kiss her forehead lightly.....

Neyo: manik you can sleep in my room if u want, I can stay here with her.....

Manik: don't worry mom u go and sleep and if I need anything I will call infact u all should rest I'm here....

After they left manik lock the door and came beside her and think about the conversation he had with cabir in his office yesterday.

Flashback stars (yesterday),

It was just a normal day when manik is in his cabin in Malhotra industries doing his work when there was knock on the door.

Manik: come in....

The person enters in and shakes his head in disbelief seeing him engrossed in work.

Person: Besides your work there is lot of things to do Mr. malhotra.....

Manik look up just too see cabir standing there he get up from his chair and hug him, cabir also hug him back, few seconds later they broke the hug.

Manik: why did knock man??? U know na u can come anytime.....

Cabir: I knock because I don't want to disturb if u r with some clients. But now leave all this and tell me what's happening....

Manik(confused): means what happened???

Cabir: Manik I mean about u and Nandini....

Manik: what about us yrr how many time I have told you not bring her topic...

Cabir: yrr manik why don't you forget that  incident for how much time u will take to forget that.....

Manik: cabir please....

Cabir(frustratingly): u toh on the first day of your marriage seperate Nandini from your life. U don't talk to her nicely and infront of everyone behave like a ideal couple. Did u ever think how did she feel??? If that day I didn't listen your talks tu toh mujhe bhi pagal banata. Manik did u notice How much she has done for u ha she take care of ur everything. She takes care of your family infact also friends like her own without any expectations and in return what u give her sadness, loneliness in the place of love. And infact why did u care if she alive or dead......

Manik(shout): CABIR....

Cabir: what happen bura laga lagna bhi chahiye. Manik listen why can't u give this relation a chance....

Manik(angrily): Cabir u know na I don't trust her and I don't want to give a single chance.....

Cabir: okk if that so than don't give but u can talk to her properly she is innocent please think about it once and now I'll take a leave I have meetings.....

After cabir left manik thinks about his words and after thinking a lot decided to talk to her normally and also behave.....
