Chapter-28: Engagement

Engagement day,

Malhotra Mansion is in full choas and the one getting hyper is manik and ofcourse why wouldn't he be after all her only sis and best friend cum Bhai is getting engaged. Neyonika's frustration is on high peak, why wouldn't it be as it is her one and only daughter's engagement but for a change Nandini is also frustrated and why wouldn't be she because it's her sister in law cum best friend and brother engagement.

Neyonika and Nandini are shouting at workers. They were busy in packing gifts for function when Raj and manik enters.

Then they all with mukti and dadi left to the venue.

In thakkar mansion situation was not different, everything is going wrong!!! Swarna was checking everything twice as it was her only son's engagement. She was shouting on workers to keep everything in car. She was also angry as her son had not yet shown up,workers are doing nothing right and her son had gone to his 'so called work'.

Manish: Thank god we decided to do the function in hotel not in home, otherwise I don't know how many people would have been fired till now....

Swarna: Don't make fun of it, by the way where is your son, does he even remember he is getting engaged today....

Abhimanyu (coming from outside): yes I do remember....

Swarna (sarcastically): Thank u for gracing us with ur presence....

Abhimanyu: Opps someone is angry....

At this swarna glare at him on which he chuckled and hugged her who smile at this.

Abhimanyu: Well mom tell me are they coming or not??? and if they are not coming then I'm not doing this engagement.....

Swarna was going to say something when they all listen a voice of a boy.

Boy: I will chop you into pieces and feed it to street dogs if you dare to cancel this engagement.....

They all see towards the source of voice and see two couples standing there. Seeing them abhimanyu ran towards them and hug both of them together. After few minutes they broke the hug. Couple moves towards Swarna Manish and touch their feets taking their blessings.

Abhimanyu: Are you both planning to not attend my engagement???

Listening this couple chukles. Then the girl moves towards him and said side hugging him.

Girl: How can I not attend my one and only dear brother-in-law engagement....

Abhimanyu: I miss you so much bhabhi.....

Saying this he again hug her.

Boy: Wow you got your bhabhi so you forgot me.....

Broking the hug abhimanyu moves towards boy and hug him.

Abhimanyu: I miss you too.....

So yes the couple is non other than Aditya and Zoya Rathore.

Swarna: Ok now enough talking let's leave we are already late....

Then they all leave to venue.

At the venue,

The engagement is in a renowned 7-star Hotel of cabir!!! After all it is a engagement of Manish thakkar's son CEO of Thakkar Industry Abhimanyu Thakkar and Raj Malhotra's daughter the famous renowned interior designer Mukti Malhotra. The media also grace this occasion.

Navya and manik are supervising all the decorations done at the venue. Neyonika and swarna are with priest getting all the last minute things needed. Both the rings are only with them. Cabir was taking care of catering. Dhruv was helping abhimanyu in getting ready.
