Chapter-40: Happiness in MM

Finally thakkar's came. They all were chit chatting while eating. Then after completing the dinner all sat in the living room as tomorrow its Sunday and they had no office so they all thought to spend time together.

Cabir: Mukti today you are looking different.....

Mukti: What do you mean by different???

Dhruv: He means you are looking like a girl. You know a proper Indian girl.....

Mukti: You both are too much.....

Alya: Well guys when are you going for your honeymoon???

Abhimanyu: Tomorrow evening we have flight for Switzerland.....

Anika: Have you guys done your packing???

Mukti: Yes just some small things are left.....

Navya: So when will you come???

Abhimanyu: Next Sunday.....

They all were talking in themselves while manan are eye talking to eachother. Coincidentally they were sitting together. Both were feeling awkward to say it aloud. Finally gathering some courage manik spoke.

Manik: I want to say something.....

Everyone stops and look towards him.

Neyonika: Ya say.....

Manik: uh..woh...mom.....

Dadi: Manu all good.....

Raj: Yes what happen manik.....

Manik stands from his place seeing which Nandini too stands in nervousness. Both were looking here and there, while everyone is confused.

Shivaay: Guys will you say something.....

Nandini: Dadi woh actually we..i.....

Dadi: Say it clearly.....

Taking a deep breath manik said in a one go.

Manik: Nandini is pregnant.....

Finally he said that he sighed in relief. There was pin drop silence, for a second no one said anything. All were hell shocked. Dadi was the first one to come out of shock. Then everyone squealed in happiness and joy.

Nandini takes blessings from elders. While younger clan jump on manik. He was having tough time in handling them.

Neyonika: I'm so happy today, I'm going to be a grandmother......

Dadi: I'm so lucky that I'll be able to see my great grand son.....

Ishita and Raman hugs Nandini and blessed her.

Everyone was so happy around. Nandini was seeing all of this with tears.

Neyonika: From now onwards you will not let yourself get tired.....

Dadi: Tell me whatever you want to eat.....

Ishita: I can't believe my nanna become so big that she is going to be a mother.....

All got engaged with Nandini while manik seeing everyone busy sneak out from there which was noticed by cabir. Cabir was noticing manik expression from starting but was not able to understand his facial expressions, so to find out he follows him.

Manik reached terrace and pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it up. Cabir sees manik smoking and looking at the sky. Now he was sure that something is definitely not right with him because he only smokes when he was tensed or angry. He goes towards him and asked.

Cabir: What's troubling you???

Manik: Nothing.....

Cabir: You know you can't hide anything from so just tell me.....
