Next day,
It was 6am in the morning when Nandini woke up to drink water. She sat up and looked at manik who was shivering. She checked the AC but it was off even windows are also closed. She frowned and touched the back of her hand on his forehead and realised that he has fever. She took out the thermometer from the drawer and kept it under his tongue. And when she saw, it was 104°.
Seeing the temperature her eyes got widened. She tries to wake him up but it was of no use as he is unconscious due to high fever. Tears were threatened to come out. Controlling herself she hurriedly goes to kitchen to bring a bowl of water and cloth.
Taking the things Nandini was going to her room when she remember that navya is staying her. So, she hurriedly goes towards cavya's room. After continuously knocking on their room finally cabir open the door in half sleep but then seeing Nandini there his sleep got flew.
Cabir: Nandini you here....
Nandini: Cabir can u please wake navya up???
Cabir: Ya but what happen???
Nandini: Actually manik has high fever and he is not even getting up....
Cabir: What??? You just relax. Don't panic. You go I'll just come with navya...
Nodding her head she left to her room.
Nandini's POV,
I came back to room but he was still not up. I sat next to him and kept the bowl on side table. I dipped the cloth in water and squeezing it I kept it on his forehead and pressed it. He was still shivering. I didn't know why, I felt my eyes watering. Seeing him like this I felt like someone has stabbed knife to my heart. I leaned forward and cupped his face and kissed his forehead and let my lips lingered there for few seconds. Gulping I moved back and dipped the cloth again. I was repeating the same when cabir enter with everyone. I came aside soo that navya can check him.
"His body is burning, did you check the temperature?" Navya asked me.
"Ya, it was 104°" I said.
"Because of high fever he is unconscious, when his temperature will be low he'll be conscious" navya said before writing something in a paper which I think is some medicines.
"But all of sudden he got fever, is he okk" neyo mom asked all worried.
"Yesterday he got drenched in rain so that's why, it's a normal viral" Navya said which calm all of us.
Nandini's POV ends....
Navya: Nandu keep putting wet cloth on his forehead till his temperature got normal. And don't worry guys he will be fine okk....
After few minutes all left leaving Nandini there. As everyone left Nandini sat beside manik and start caressing his forehead, when her mobile rang. She picked up her mobile and saw karan her pa calling.
Nandini: Hello...
Karan: Good morning mam.....
Nandini: Good morning....
Karan: Mam actually you have meeting Sk music production at 12:00...
Nandini: But it was decided for day after tomorrow....
Karan: Yes, but the director has to go out of country for 1 month so he want to do it before going....
Nandini: Tell them to postpone it....
Karan: but...
Nandini (cutting him off): Manik is not well so I can't come....
Karan: Okk mam...
