After a few days, Nandini was finally discharged from the hospital. The car ride home was filled with a quiet anticipation. Nandini, holding baby close, couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement.
It had been two months since she had been to the Malhotra mansion, and now she was going back, not just as Manik's wife, but as the mother of their child.
Manik, driving the car, kept stealing glances at his wife and son, a smile playing on his lips. "You excited?" he asked softly.
Nandini looked up, her eyes shining with emotion. "Very. I missed everyone, and I can't wait to show baby his home."
As they pulled up to the grand entrance of the Malhotra mansion, Nandini's heart swelled with joy. The mansion looked as majestic as ever. Manik parked the car and quickly got out, hurrying to Nandini's side to help her out with the baby. They walked towards the entrance, and just as they were about to step inside, they were stopped by Neyonika.
"Wait!" Neyonika called out, a mischievous glint in her eye. Standing beside her were Cabir, Navya, Mukti, Abhimanyu, Alya, Dhruv, Ishita, Vivek, Dadi, and Raj-all waiting with bright smiles and a palpable sense of excitement.
Neyonika held a traditional aarti plate, her face glowing with happiness. "Welcome home, my children," she said, her voice filled with warmth and love. She performed the aarti, blessing them and the baby, then placed a small tika on Baby's forehead.
Manik picks Nandini in his arms with baby who was in already in her arms. Nandini shouts in suprised while younger clan hoots for them.
"Lover boy mode on," Cabir said teasingly.
Nandini said blushing, "Manik what are doing put me down."
"Get a habit of this," Manik said winking at her.
As they stepped inside, a cascade of colorful confetti and streamers fell from above. The whole mansion was decorated beautifully, with lights, balloons, and banners.
A large sign read "Welcome Home" in elegant lettering. Nandini's eyes widened in surprise, and she felt her heart swell with overwhelming joy.
"This is amazing," Nandini whispered, her voice choked with emotion.
Manik, standing beside her, squeezed her hand gently. "Welcome home, Nandini."
Everyone gathered around them, cheering and clapping. The atmosphere was electric with joy and celebration.
Raj stepped forward, a proud smile on his face. "We wanted to make sure you felt welcomed back home, Nandini. And to celebrate the arrival of our little member."
Cabir, always the joker, grinned widely. "We couldn't let you come home without a proper welcome party!"
Navya, holding Cabir's hand, added, "We all missed you so much. And we can't wait to spoil baby."
Mukti and Abhimanyu came forward with a large cake, beautifully decorated with "Welcome Home" written on it.
