Avyukt’s first birthday was approaching, and the Malhotra mansion buzzed with excitement. Manik was hyperactive, determined to make his little one’s first birthday unforgettable. Nandini, equally excited, found herself in the role of calming Manik down whenever he got too carried away.

The day before the party, Manik was in the living room, surrounded by decorations, party favors, and a list of things to do. "We need more balloons, Nandini! And did you confirm the magician? What about the cake? Is it going to be big enough?"

Nandini walked over, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Manik, relax. Everything is under control. The cake is perfect, the decorations are amazing, and yes, I confirmed the magician. Now, take a deep breath."

Manik took a deep breath, exhaling slowly. "I just want everything to be perfect for Avyukt. It’s his first birthday, Nandini."

She smiled, wrapping her arms around his waist. "I know, and it will be perfect because you’ve put so much love into it. But we don’t need to stress. Let’s enjoy this, okay?"

Manik nodded, leaning down to kiss her forehead. "You’re right. I’ll try to calm down."

Just then, the doorbell rang, and in came Cabir, Alya, Dhruv, Mukti, Abhimanyu, and Navya, all with broad smiles on their faces.

"Look at this," Cabir said, smirking. "Manik Malhotra, the perfectionist, losing his cool over a kid’s birthday party."

Mukti chuckled, nudging Manik. "Seriously, Bhai, you’re more stressed than a bride on her wedding day."

Manik rolled his eyes, though he couldn’t help but laugh. "It’s not just any kid’s birthday. It’s Avyukt’s first birthday. It has to be perfect."

Alya smiled, pulling Manik into a hug. "It will be perfect because you care so much. But remember, kids don’t care about perfection. They just want to have fun."

Dhruv added, "And he’s one. He won’t even remember this party, Manik. So relax and enjoy it."

Manik sighed, looking around at his friends. "I know, I know. I just want everything to be special for him."

Nandini laughed, patting Manik’s back. "See, everyone agrees with me. Now, let’s finish up and get ready for tomorrow."

The day of the party arrived, and the Malhotra mansion was a sight to behold. The garden was transformed into a magical wonderland with balloons, streamers, a huge cake, and a stage for the magician. Manik was running around, making last-minute checks, while Nandini followed behind, calming him down.

Guests started arriving, and soon, the place was filled with laughter and excitement. Avyukt, dressed in an adorable blue outfit, was the center of attention. Manik and Nandini stood by his side, greeting everyone.

"Happy birthday, little one!" Raj said, lifting Avyukt in his arms. "Look at you, already one year old. Time flies."

Neyonika hugged Nandini, smiling warmly. "You’ve done a wonderful job, dear. The party looks amazing."

Nandini blushed. "Thank you, Mom. But it’s all Manik’s doing. He’s been working so hard for this."

Manik joined them, grinning. "It’s a team effort. But yeah, I might have gone a bit overboard."

Cabir laughed, patting Manik’s back. "Overboard is an understatement. But we love you for it."

The magician performed, keeping the kids and adults entertained. There were games, music, and a lot of laughter. Avyukt was in high spirits, giggling and clapping at everything.
