*Ring*Ring*, door opens.
"Hello! So glad that you could come" The Queen greeted as she hugged her dear friend
"Thank you for inviting me" her friend said smiling
"Come in" The Queen said letting her guest enter
"Sorry to ask but, where's Crystal?" Vindeca asked
"Oh, that" The Queen said chuckling lightly
"Crystal decided that it was a good idea to pull up all-nighter, and, in the morning, she could barely open her eyes. Milori carried her all the way until we got on Arkadas till we arrive back" The Queen said still chuckling
Vindeca laughed along. But it was clear that it was a fake laugh.
"Hey...is something wrong?" the Queen asked caringly as she place a hand on Vindeca's shoulder
"Well.." Vindeca began trying to think of the words to say
"Let's sit and have tea while we talk, shall we?" The Queen proposed
"Yes please" Vindeca said politely
She began telling her about William's situation. The Queen couldn't help but feel sad about this.
"I'm so sorry for what happened to William..this happened because-" The Queen said as she began to tear up
"No, no it's okay. William did what he needed to do. Furthermore, no fairy anticipate that this will happen" Vindeca said consoling the Queen; even though it should have been the other way around
"But..what could cause this illness to happen to such an innocent young child?" Queen Clarion asked gingerly
"I don't know, honestly .The results just showed that his cells couldn't regenerate and that the cells in his body is so damaged it exceeds the cells ability to heal itself " Vindeca replied, completely leaving out that it could have been her fault
The Queen felt so sorry for the mother, who will soon be losing the child she wanted so much. And the poor child, that face such tragic fate at such a young age.
They talked for a while, mothers to mothers.
----At William's side-------
He was at the Alchemy lab with Zarina
"Ooh look at how thing bubbled up!" Zarina said with excitement as she showed the potion mixture to William
He smiled and nodded
Zarina smiled and rubbed his hair
"It's nice to have you for an Alchemy partner. You don't meet fairies like that every day" She said happily
Although it is true William is well enough to attend classes, but it's only due to the medications he was given that sustain his body. Otherwise, no. His health is deteriorating even more each day despite his efforts to stay healthy.
Although the good thing is that Dave have not bothered him in those 2 weeks, much to his joy. But this little happiness couldn't keep him happy too long, he have a much heavier sadness that weigh on him as heavy as the mountains. It's pitiful.
He is saddened, knowing that he would no longer be her subordinate for long
"Zarina. There's something you should know..I can't be your Alchemy partner for long" He said softly
"Why? What happen?" Zarina asked shocked
"*GASP* were you suspended of your talent because of the previous accident? If so, I'm sure I can negotiate-" She said wide eyed as she placed both arms on the young fairy's shoulder
