"It's alright" He answered

"Say..would you like to play tomorrow? It has been a while since we played" Crystal asked smiling

(previously)

"I..uh.. sorry, what were we talking about earlier?" William asked scratching his head

"I asked you if you would like to play" Crystal repeated her question

"Oh, okay , um-" William said but paused

"Crystal sweetheart, why not let's give William some time to ask his parents?" the Queen quickly stepped in

"If he's free, he can give us a call and come to play" the Queen continued saying sweetly

"Oh okay..sure!" Crystal replied

"That's my girl. Now, will you be a dear and help me grab the book I placed on the dining table , please?' She asked

"Of course , Mama" She said and flew inside

Taking this opportunity, the Queen quickly said something to William

"I am aware of your current situation, knowing it may not be the best condition to do vigorous activity. So by all means, if you feel unwell, do decline" She assured him with a smile

"I will ask my parents regarding this..Thank you for your understanding, your majesty" He said with a polite bow and flew off

"Okay Mama, I'm here..." Crystal said flying out holding the book

"Where's William?" She asked

"He went back home sweetie. Thank you for taking me the book Crystal" The Queen said smiling

"You're welcome " she said laughing happily

"Come, let's go in" The Queen said directing her daughter inside

The Queen's expression had sadness and seriousness in it. She knows that she needed to tell her daughter

"Swe-"The Queen said but was interrupted

"I really hoped that he would be able to come by" Crystal said as she twirled around and danced. She missed using her legs

"I'm thinking of giving him a gift, to thank him for taking extra care of me when I fractured my leg. He was really sweet" Crystal said beaming

"What do you think I should get him. Mama?" Crystal asked her mother

"Ah,I know! How about a new jersey? I know he loves sports, so he could use a new one, what do you think?" her daughter suggested as her eyes lit up

"I.." the Queen stuttered

"What's wrong? Is it a bad gift?" Crystal said frowning

"No, no it's-" Clarion said as she desperately tried to think how to say it

She was indecisive. She didn't want to pour the cold water down on her daughter's enthusiasm, but she didn't want to lie to her

"What should I do?" she thought

"I just thought that It's better to give something..smaller and a thing that does not require size measurements...because for a jersey, you need his size and his preference of design, color and such" the Queen replied

In the end..she still couldn't bear to tell her

"Ooh..that's right! Thank you mama" Crystal said as she flew up to kiss her mother's cheeks
