"Alright, Princess Crystal it is" the Queen said with a smile

The royal family spent a few moments enjoying the little peaceful moment that they can have before things start to get busier

As you would expect, life with a newborn is definitely not easy.

Here is a gist of the life of Lord Milori and Queen Clarion's life with a new baby.

Milori and Clarion were sleeping soundly.

*WAAHHHH* baby crying*

Milori and Clarion shot up

"I'll go" they both said in unison

Hastily, they both got up and attend to the baby's needs

Queen Clarion was a natural, the baby sooths down when she feels her mother touch

The Queen would sing, or sway or caress the baby to calm her down

As for Milori, he did the same; minus the singing.

"Hush... hush.. sweetie" Milori said softly while cradling his daughter

But obviously, for feedings, it has to be done by the Queen.

Sometimes, the Queen would be the one to carry the baby to the bed and feed her; and if it's Milori, he would help carry the baby to his wife.

He would try supporting her as much giving her an extra pillow or getting her a glass of water is she needs it.

It was hard to identify what the baby needs at first, but soon both Milori and Clarion got the hang of it(or so it seems)

The responsibility was shared out quite evenly, Milori and Clarion would take turns to take care of the baby.

The Queen has started using a breast pump soon when work started to get busier, therefore now Milori can help to feed the baby.

This was like a show for the Ministers. Seeing their leaders go in and out to tend the baby's need.

It was quite adorable ,really.

Although the meeting room was quite far from the baby's room, the rulers can still watch over their baby from a baby monitor.

Soon enough, the new parents began looking more and more exhausted

Sometimes there are stains on their outfits, uncombed hair and dark circles- the price of parenting.

As this probably hasn't been challenging enough, the baby became more needy when she had colic.

(Note: Colic is a condition where the baby cries very frequently (more than 3 hours a day)

*The baby crying*

Milori is trying his best to calm the baby down

"There there sweetie...don't cry" Milori said softly

The baby cried louder

The couple struggled to calm their baby down

"I don't get it..we've fed her, change her diapers, made sure there are no irritating sounds, we didn't leave her alone, why is she crying?" Milori asked his wife

"It's colic dear..." the Queen replied with a yawn

This was a very tough period for the couple. Sleepless night, a crying baby, getting used to parenting, and juggling work at the same time
