The Tale of Queen Clarion and Lord Milori

The Origin of the border rule- Part 2

Milori began to sweat, his hands are getting tired. But that's not his main concern. His girlfriend's temperature is rising and he can barely feel his wings. He put his personal feelings aside and focused on his lover.

(Previously)

-Some moments later-

"Okay here they are!" said the receptionist as she pants

Milori looked up.

The medical -healing talent fairy touched the Queen's forehead.

"Oh Dear! This is serious!" said the fairy

"Come young sir, follow me!" said the healing talent fairy gesturing to ask Milori to follow her

"Please place her on the bed" said the healing talent fairy

"I'm Vindeca, but you can call me vince" said Vince quickly as she gabbed her tools and stuff

"You may go back if you're feeling too warm, winter fairy" said Vince

"No, it's alright" Milori quickly replied

"Very well" Vince replied

"Now, can you kindly tell me what happened to the Queen?" said Vince

Milori told her everything and explain all that was needed.

Vindeca measured her temperature, did some treatments, etc.

"You are very alert to bring her here as early as possible. Such high temperature in any fairy is very fatal" Vindeca said

"Will she be alright?"Milori asked worriedly

"Yes, she is alright, but she will probably be out for a day or so" Vindeca stated

"I see, thank you" Milori said

"But you, young sir should head back, you're really getting too warm" said Vindeca looking at the winter fairy

Milori realized that he is drenched in sweat.

"Alright, thank you again" Milori said as he ran off to the winter woods as fast as he could

He then allow himself to cool off for a few seconds.

"Now, I must get bac-" Milori said as he prepare himself to fly

"Ouch!" Milori exclaimed softly as he tried to lift his wings

"It's probably nothing, I'll try to lift one wing at a time and a little harder this time" Milori thought to himself

He lifted his right wing.

*CRACK*

Milori gasped.

He was filled with sadness, realizing that he could no longer fly.

But he quickly recover himself from that state.

"You can't be sad. You are to be announced as Lord today" Milori thought to himself

After this, Milori had to have a talk with Delphic before the announcement.

Delphic and Milori had to think of how the announcement is going to go about since he can't get new wings or fly.

Even Delphic cannot heal a broken wing.

Delphic had a plan. Instead of giving him wings, Delphic will give him  strength. He will then be stronger, larger in size, and more muscular than normal fairies.
