PAUL'S POV

It had been a few weeks since Addie and Michael came home. Life with four kids was a bit of a handful at first, but we're slowly adjusting. Within these last few weeks there had been such a change in the atmosphere of the family. Since Michael's complicated birth everyone has been trying to do more together. Almost losing Addie really spooked Liz, so she's been trying to have family dinners more often.

Today we were just hanging out at home. Mady, Matt and Mia were outside playing with Rosie and the dogs while Addie stayed inside with the baby.

"How's our little man doing?" I asked as I came up behind her.

"Shh! He's finally almost asleep." She said, rocking him lightly. "I'm gonna go put him down for his nap."

"I'll wait for you down here." I told her as she quickly took him upstairs. I sat down on the couch as I heard the phone ring. "I'll get it, love!" I quickly picked it up. "Hello?"

"Hi Mr. McCartney, this is Phyllis from the solicitor's office. Is your wife available?"

"Uh she's taking care of the baby. Is everything alright?"

"I was just told to call and remind her about her upcoming follow-up appointment."

Appointment? "Follow-up appointment?"

"Regarding her will."

I went pale. Her what?

"Mr. McCartney..?"

"I-I'm sorry. I'll let her know that you called."

"Thank you." She said as we both hung up. I slowly sat down taking in what I heard. Her will? She called the solicitor about her will? How could she not tell me?

"He went down so easily. He sleeps just about as good as Mia at this age." She sat down next to me.

"Yeah, that's great..."

"I heard the phone ring, who was on the phone?"

"On the phone? Oh, well it was for you. A reminder about your follow-up appointment at the solicitor's..." I turned to her. I was about to burst. I couldn't tell if I was angry or concerned, but I wanted to scream.

"My.." I watched as her face fell. I caught her in it." "Paul, darling, I-"

"Adaline Elise, what were you doing discussing your will with our solicitor?"

"I..." She started before going quiet. She really had nothing to say?

"You what? You went to our solicitor to discuss your will without even telling me?"

"I was afraid to tell you..." She said in barely a whisper.

"You went to work on your bloody will, you should have told me! Christ..." I ran my hand through my hair and walked over to the window. "Apparently after six years of a relationship and three years of a marriage you can't trust me."

"Don't say that! I do trust you...I-I was just nervous about how you'd react..."

"Nervous as to how I'd react?" I scoffed. "How do you think I should have reached then? Huh?"

"Darling, please..It wasn't anything major! I just wanted to make sure all of my information was up to date!" She got up, following me.

"Still, you had no right not telling me about this! I'm your husband and I have the right to know! It's like after you had Mady, you're starting to shut me out again!"
