Someone made a joke that the reason why Batman Arkham Knight failed was because there wasn't a large monster boss fight at the end of the game. Origins had TN-1 Bane, Asylum had T.I.T.A.N Joker, and City had Clayface. I actually found it funny.

Also, there's some very... implied dirty things in this chapter, not too dirty though. You've been warned.

3rd Person P.O.V.

The pod crashes on the sand. Batman breaks out the door and climbs out. The adrenaline rush wears off and now he's experiencing the full pain from the brutal brawl he just had.

(Rose Quartz) Batman, are you okay?!

(Amethyst) Yeah, man, are you good? You took her entire fist to your face. And she threw you around like a ragdoll.

(Batman) I'm fine.

He summoned the Batwing and he grappled to it and it take him back to Phoebe's house.

(Batman) Alfred, prep the medical bay... we're going to need it...

[Cowl Comms] My God, what happened?

(Batman) I'll explain when I get there...

Minutes later:

(Alfred) There, you should be all better in a little while.

(Phoebe) I can't believe she did this to you.

Here is what's wrong with Bruce's body: he has a black eye, a bloody nose, a few cracked ribs, two ugly bruises on his face, some cuts on his chest along with dirty bruises. Not to mention that his chest already suffered from the bruises Bane left on him, so that just made it worse.

(Bruce) Guess Bruce Wayne has to lay low for a while until his eye heals. I can't risk the suspicion of Bruce Wayne's bruises and Batman's.

(Alfred) Batman should lay low for a few days until his body heals from the scuffle he just went through.

(Bruce) It's fine, Alfred, really. This isn't different than Christmas Eve.

He took the ice pack and put it on his eye.

(Phoebe) I think you should listen to Alfred. You may be the legendary Batman, but you're still flesh and bone.

(Bruce) A good night's sleep can do wonders. I'll be better in the morning.

He goes to the couch and began to sleep within the minute.

(Alfred) I worry about him. He hardly takes care of himself when he gets hurt. He dedicates too much into his crusade.

(Phoebe) I do, too. But nobody else is as brave as him. Maybe Rose can heal his bruises.

(Alfred) But that would risk her knowing the Batman's true identity.

(Phoebe) True.

Phoebe walks to the couch put her hand on Bruce's head. His head was burning hot. She took the ice pack and put it on Bruce's forehead.
