Chapter 1: Merry Christmas

3rd Person P.O.V.

Blackgate Prison:

Batman proceeded to the Panopticon. There, is where all the most, if not, all the rest of the prisoners are, including the Joker. He's up the top floor of the room with Warden Joseph as his hostage and two of his subordinates behind him.

(Batman) Let him go!

(Joker) I understand you. You had a chance to let me die and you didn't take it, I bet right you're wishing you had. I've killed a lot of people, I've brought the city to it's knees, crippled the Police force and it's not even time to unwarp our presents!

Everyone else was cheering him on.

(Joker) ZIP IT!

[Silence]

Someone walked up next to the clown.

(Bane) Let's do this.

(Joker) Okay, okay.

Joker tosses a mobster a device.

(Joker) So, what our friend Bane holds in his hand is a heart monitor. Once he clamps it on, every beat of his vacant little heart will charge the battery...

He sits down on a electric chair.

(Joker) ...on this electric chair. And when it's fully charged: BZZZZZ!!!

He pretended that he was being electrocuted.

(Joker) So either you kill Bane--

(Batman) No! I won't kill him.

(Bane) But you will. You will fight me with all of your resolve, or you will die. Someone is going to die: You, me or the clown. The question of which one of us it is, is in your hands.

He puts on the heart monitor and jumps down.

(Bane) A compassionate man would be at home mourning the loss of his servant and life-long companion right now. Yet here you are.

Bane pumped himself full of venom and began to charge like a bull.

(Joker) Oh, and just in case either of you were thinking of getting smart: try to remove the heart monitor and KABOOM! More minced meat on the walls thsn a house made of hamburger.

Bane eventually stopped and Batman gave him a beatdown and removed a tube of venom.

(Joker) Uh oh! You made him angry! (Laughs)

Bane began to charge again.

(Bane) Your attention, Batman!

He jumps up to get Batman off balance but it fails. Batman stunned Bane with his cape and gave him a beatdown. Batman tried to remove another tube--

(Bane) No!

He grabbed Batman and holds him up with both arms.

(Bane) (grunts)

He flipped Batman and slammed his knee in his back. He rolled Batman on the floor and put his boot on his chest.

(Batman) (groans)

Captain Gordon showed up. He is on the top floor. He points the gun at the mobsters who held Joseph hostage.

(Gordon) Don't move!

(Mobster) Maybe you shouldn't move.

He shot both of the mobsters in places that won't kill them. Then Joseph handcuffs them. Gordon saw Joker in a electric chair.
