Chapter 7: The Human Zoo

Yeah, I'm doing thumbnails for this story. It's a way of expressing my creativity of this story. Expect thumbnails for the rest of the story. Thumbnail style is inspired by the underrated YouTuber: Batman Arkham Videos.

Anyway, before this starts, I just wanna make something clear, Pink Diamond's shattering took place in Beach City, instead of Korea, because it wouldn't necessarily make sense for Batman to go there. Plus, I couldn't find a way for it to make sense, so I basically said, "Screw you" to the Steven Universe story. I feel like I have to explain the changes in the story anytime I do because it's normally not what I do when I write a story about Steven Universe.

Of course, you would say, "It's an AU, so there's no problem with that," and that is partially true, you can view it that way. But this is a head-canon story to the Arkhamverse (Arkham Series) so it's not technically an AU. Still, it's also sort of my take on the Steven Universe story, so I can change the "rules" if I wanted to (but I'm weak at making independent decisions, so I most likely won't take advantage of it).

3rd Person P.O.V.

Homeworld:

Yellow spent so much time in her room, Blue began to worry for her.

(Blue Diamond) Yellow? Are you in there?

(Yellow Diamond) [Behind Door] Go away! I'm busy!

(Blue Diamond) With what? You've been busy for a dozen rotations. 

(Yellow Diamond) [Behind Door] You wouldn't care. Please, leave me be.

(Blue Diamond) I'm coming in.

Before Yellow had the chance to even protest, Blue opens the door and walks in her room. To much of Blue's surprise, she saw a lot of things. She saw pictures of some creature with horns on it's head and a cape on it's back.

And Yellow has her toolbox out and lots of her equipment is scattered all over the place, making her room a complete mess. 

(Yellow Diamond) I'm starting to regret giving you access to my quarters.

(Blue Diamond) Yellow... what is this thing?

(Yellow Diamond) It's... nothing.

(Blue Diamond) And why do you have pictures of it on your screen? Is this your new obsession?

Yellow blushed before she retorted.

(Yellow Diamond) I am not obsessed with it! I'm not turning into White.

(Blue Diamond) Then, why is there pictures of it in your room?

(Yellow Diamond) Because I need to study it.

(Blue Diamond) So you are obsessed with it.

(Yellow Diamond) No, I am not! There is a fine line between research and obsession.

(Blue Diamond) Why are you researching it?

(Yellow Diamond) Because this creature is a threat to my plans and it destroyed the Cluster. I must get rid of it, or make sure it doesn't get in my way again. I could lock it away, but where would I put it?
