So, as of recently, Batman is confirmed to be alive after Batman Arkham Knight and he's going to be in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. This means that everything in Chapter 12 isn't the finale just yet, since Batman is still alive during the time and he just faked his death.
So, I will make another chapter about Batman returning and it should be canon when Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League comes out (May 26th, 2023).
The game takes place five years after Arkham Knight (according to the devs), and to put it in perspective of the characters, it will have been fifteen years since any of them had seen Batman.
