You thought it was the last ending, didn't you? Well, don't think I forgotten it, I have it planned, but I just felt like doing this first.

(Ruby Guard) You saw what happened this morning?

(Amethyst Guard) No, I was poofed last night by the Batman. What happened?

(Ruby Guard) Moonlight was executed publicly.

(Amethyst Guard) Wait, MOONLIGHT?!

(Ruby Guard) Yeah. Someone let her out when everyone's focusing on Batman.

(Amethyst Guard) How was it? Was it entertaining?

(Ruby Guard) Actually, no. It wasn't.

(Amethyst Guard) What do you mean?

(Ruby Guard) I've seen plenty of funny executions during Era-2, but this one was sad and pathetic. From when she realized it in her cell, and all the way to her death, she was crying and calling out for Batman.

(Amethyst Guard) What?!

(Ruby Guard) She was scared. She kept saying, "Batman! Batman! Please, help me!"

(Amethyst Guard) Didn't Era-3 ban executions? Pink Diamond specifically requested that.

(Ruby Guard) Yeah, but she also agreed on executing Moonlight. Said she's too dangerous to be kept alive.

(Amethyst Guard) And let me guess, Batman didn't save her?

(Ruby Guard) Yeah, because if he did, she'd probably be somewhere else. I... I feel sorry for her.

(Amethyst Guard) Don't be. She deserved it.

(Ruby Guard) Yeah, but imagine being on the stand, out in front of the eyes of Homeworld. That's scary, no matter who you are. Especially being told that you're going to die, and there isn't a thing you can do about it.

(Amethyst Guard) I guess you're right. Doesn't change how I felt about her trying to take over.

(Ruby Guard) Me either, but she probably would've lead Homeworld into a better direction. She isn't like the other Diamonds who act like children. Moonlight, at least, had some some maturity and, I guess, honesty. She also would've treated gems better.

(Amethyst Guard) I can't say she would or could, especially since she was only out within a single night, and she isn't here anymore.

(Ruby Guard) I suppose. How do you think he did it?

(Amethyst Guard) Who?

(Ruby Guard) Batman. How did he do all of the things he did last night? Within a single night, I might add.

(Amethyst Guard) He just... did it, I guess. He seemed almost invincible. Like nothing bothered him or stopped him.

(Ruby Guard) That's what fascinates me about him. The fact that he did all of that in one night and was barely slowed down is what makes him look like a... legend.
