Yellow Diamond sighed. "You would be better off here than there. You would benefit us greatly."

"Benefiting you. I benefit my society." Batman retorted.

"Do not attempt to leave Homeworld boundaries and off into the wilderness beyond our society. All attempts are handled with extreme prejudice."

Batman quickly looked around. "What was that?"

"White." Blue Diamond nonchalantly explains.

Pink Diamond rolled her eyes in the annoyance of the oldest Diamond's speeches. She loves to hear herself talk."

"She lists out the basic rules and instruction everyone knows all the time. That could be beneficial for you, because you're new here. I recommend listening to her so you can understand our society better. The Palace is this way." Yellow Diamond explains while she leads him inside their home, with Pink and Blue behind him.

Back outside again, Batman can hear White Diamond speaking through the speakers of Homeworld.

"All gems have a commanding officer to ensure they complete the tasks they're given. You should never doubt the commands of your leader. If, by any chance, you are concerned with the orders you've been issued, please contact our safety and community guidelines to talk with the gems there, or potentially a Diamond to help resolve your doubts. Never fear, there is no punishment for asking a question."

Batman saw some gems looking at the screen and listened to them.

"So, Pink is back?"

"Seems like it."

"This is good, right? Maybe Blue will take it easy from now on?"

"Who knows? White would never let it down, though. She may never speak to Yellow and Blue again."

"That's right. Do you remember the night of when she heard the news?"

"How could I forget? She almost dropped Yellow and Blue off the balcony, everyone saw it."

"Is no one wondering how she's even alive? I thought she was shattered."

"I did, too. But now she's alive."

"But do any of you want to know how? I sure do."

"If it's enough to make Blue happy, than it's good enough for me."

"Blue's too gullible to believe anything that's about her, Pink, and maybe Yellow."

"I'll tell her you said that."

"Oh, come on, now. Don't ruin the moment. Tonight's going to be a good night, I can feel it."

"It's true, though. Which is why I wanted to work for Yellow Diamond and not Blue."

"Isn't Yellow too brutish?"

"Maybe, but she doesn't hurt and/or shatter anyone when she's sad or angry. She only does it when she has a reason to, it might be petty, but any reason is good enough for her to shatter. Blue does whatever she feels like, it makes her look less of a leader and more like a child, much like Pink before.
