"I KNOW YOUR SEEING EACH OTHER AGAIN."

Shield suddenly said they finish their lunch. Kareen is washing the dishes on the mini kitchen of the office and Shield is back on her works while Coco os on his own table. Probably, drawing again.

Nagtataka ang tingin na ibinigay niya sa kaibigan. "Anong ibig mong sabihin?"

"Cut the crap, don't pretend that you don't know what I'm saying." Shield replied while her eyes were still on the paper.

Napangiti siya. Shield really talk like a mean. One of the reason why her employees were afraid of her. But, Kareen don't, she already know about her boss slash friend. You just have to know Shield more so you can understand her better.

"Wala talagang makakatakas sayo no. Para kang secret agent. Paano mo nalaman?" Tanong niya habang pinupunasan ang basang kamay.

"I saw him fetch you after our dinner."

"Napadaan lang daw siya noong gabing iyon, saka hindi naman siguro masama kung hayaan ko siyang makasama ang anak namin kahit hindi pa niya alam." Paliwanag niya.

Kareen sat into the chair infront of Shield.

Shield look at her. "Planning to tell him the truth? I know I'm out of your issue but you should tell him. He has the right to know that he has an adorable kid. But, I'm just suggesting, it's still on your decision."

"Pero natatakot ako, paano kung mapahamak na naman kami. Kahit nga ang paglapit niya sa amin eh baka delikado. Wala akong alam kung anong nangyari sa taong iyon kaya natatakot ako." Hininaan niya ang tuno ng boses dahil baka marinig iyon ng anak. Thankfully, Coco is very busy on his drawing.

"Maybe he can help."

"Ang alam ko lang gawin ngayon ay manahimik muna baka pagsinabi ko sa kanya ang lahat, ikapahamak niya pa iyon."

Of course she wanted to tell him everything. Pero ayaw magpadalos-dalos, baka bumalik na naman iyong takot niya noong mga araw na iyon. Baka talaga hindi na sila makatakas pagnapahamak sila.

Shield smiled. "I understand, but if you need someone to talk. I'm here."

Napangiti narin siya. "Salamat."

Shield rest her back on her chair. "So, tell me what happened this past few days."

A smile automatically crept on her lips. Then, she didn't notice how happy she was while telling what happened this past few days that Humphrey is with them. And, Shield who witness her happiness kust silently supporting and listening to her.

KAKABABA palang niya sa lobby karga ang anak ng lumapit sa kanila si Marcos.

"Hey Kiddo." He greeted to her son. "Hi Kareen. Going home?"

"Ah, Oo. Kakatapos lang ng trabaho eh. Mauna na kami." Paalam niya sana rito ngunit nagsalita ulit si Marcos.

"Is this just me or your avoiding me Kareen?"

"Huh, bakit mo naman nasabi iyon Marcos?" Tanong niya. But true she was avoiding him because she felt uncomfortable with him. She doesn't why.

"Ang tipid mong sumagot kapag kinakausap kita o kaya nagpapaalam ka agad. I thought were friends here? I mean were both employee."

"Pasensya kana kung ganoon ang nararamdaman mo. I'm sorry pero kailangan na talaga naming umalis nagugutom na ang anak ko." Gusto niyang sabihin na hindi sila magkaibigan pero ayaw naman niyang maging tunog maldita.

Kahit naman hindi siya kumportable dito eh wala naman itong ginagawang masama sa kanya. She doesn't have a right to be mean.

"Then why acting like this?"
