THE DAY after they got home. Humphrey make sure that his son and Kareen are safe in his house in AV. After that, he decided to visit his parents house. Luckily, his grandfather was there.

"How was your company in HongKong son?"

"So far, doing good. How 'bout your's Dad?"

"The same as yours as always." He nodded but his father added another question. "Anyway before I forgot, I heard from one of the board of directors that something urgently came up while you were in an important meeting. They were asking me since you didn't gave them a specific answer about it." His father said as he fork a little size of pork and bring it on his mouth.

"Baka girl na 'yan anak. Care to share it with Mom?"

Natawa siya sa tukso ng ina. But then, he nodded which made his mother as wider as her lips can stretch. "Really? When are we going to meet her? Tomorrow? The day after tomorrow? Are you going to get married na anak?

She is seriously excited with the thought of him, having a girlfriend and or a wife. "Maybe next week or next, next week?"

Contrary to what he said, her shoulder fell down and she pouted like a teenage girl.

"I'm not but I'm telling you, if you can wait for that day. It will be happiest day of your life." He promised. Except from his sister and of course his silent grandpa who was pretending to eat seriously. Seems like he knew why I came. Such a cunning old man.

He shrugged his shoulder playfully. "Who knows that you will have another happiest day that you will surely add in your list."

"Why so matagal pa kasi?" Ungot nito.

He heard his father chuckle. "Don't be too excited sweetheart. I'm talking about your son's girlfriend."

"Sweetheart, not every woman is the same as you. So please, let's just understand." He silently laugh.

"Hmp, that day should be very worth it than my appointment for my spa." Irap nito.

They both laugh by what his mother said. Girls would always treat their girly things as the very important things in their lives.

After the dinner, his grandpa took him to his study room for a private conversation.

"I am giving you the right to tell me what you are thinking."

"Even if I'd say hurtful words, perhaps?" He politely asked.

His grandpa just grab a two glasses of wine glass and pour an enough amount of wine on it, while nodding.

"It's your right. I've been lying to you anyway."

"You did that for a good purposes right grandpa?"

"What if I am not? What are you going to do with your grandpa?"
