Chapter XIV: Jealous?

Third Person's P. O. V

The first game has already finished, and of course as expected, Gryffindor wins because of Liam. Slytherin also won since the two teams didn't compete.

The next game was swimming, and since Liam signed up for this, he'll be playing. Liam is now inside the locker room, changing with the other challengers. Well of course, Mingyu's one of those challengers.

Since earlier, he's been glaring at Liam but the latter didn't mind him and just shut the locker door and walks out. He's already wearing his shorts but he's still wearing a cover from his top, unlike Mingyu who's already topless and stupidly flexing his body.

Liam scoffed and shook his head.

"That asshole is so arrogant!" Wendy said through gritted teeth.

"Yeah!" Seulgi agrees, harshly took a bite of her gummy.

"I just want to punch his stupid face" Jisoo said, also harshly eating her chicken while glaring at Mingyu. Irene shook her head hearing what the three said and glanced at Jennie who was still frowning. Beside her was Ella and Seungjae who were cheering for Liam. Liam was scanning the bleachers, looking for his friends, Ella, Seungjae and...Jennie.

He spots the girl sitting on the first row with Ella beside her, his brother, and his other friends. He smiled at Jennie, making the frown on the latter's face fade and was replaced by a sweet smile. Irene and Chaeng noticed this and they just shook their heads.

Earlier, Jennie was just mad and it all faded because of Liam's smile.

'Whipped' they both thought.

"Swimmers, kindly get ready!" the emcee announced. Liam averts his gaze and unzips his upper cloth. He removes it and puts it on the chair, as soon as he did that, a loud squeal was heard all over the pool area. He didn't mind them and just proceed to where he should be.

Jennie, who was staring at him all the time since he came out from the locker room, blushed when he saw the six pack abs of Liam.

"Unnie, Liam oppa is so handsome, right?" Ella asked her with a smile.

"R–right" she stuttered. Ella and Seungjae looks at each other with a smirk.

"Jendeuk, you're blushing" Jisoo teased her while wiggling her eyebrows. Jennie rolls her eyes and just focused on the game.

"Platform 1, Lee Jihoon from team Ravenclaw!" the emcee announced, earning a clap and a cheer.

"Platform 2, Song Kang from team Hufflepuff!"

"Platform 3, Kim Mingyu from team Slytherin!" a loud cheer was heard. Jennie didn't even clap because of him.

"Platform 4, Liam Manoban from team Gryffindor!" a loud cheer booms inside the pool area as they all clapped while the others are squealing.

"Swimmers, on your mark...!" the swimmers crouched down.

"Get set...!"

"GO!" the emcee yelled and a loud whistle was blown. The challengers jumped and Mingyu was taking the lead, Liam on the second place, Song Kang third and last, Jihoon.

Mingyu and Liam reached the end and they quickly did a front flip and kicked the wall. The two are already beside each other, Mingyu caught a glimpse of this and he was trying to fasten his pace. The teams of the two are already chanting their names.

Finally, they both finished the race. Both of them were panting, Mingyu was glaring at Liam.

The others finally finished the race and they're all waiting for their scores.
