Chapter XI: Sports Fest

Third Person's P. O. V

Sports fest finally came, everyone is getting excited that they even came so early. They had a parade around Seoul, but Liam didn't join and just stayed on the bleachers in the field alone.

He's wearing a red shirt with the word Gryffindor and the symbol at the front of the shirt, paired with red jogging pants and white adidas shoes.

"Hi, can I join you here?" a voice of a girl snapped him out of his thoughts. He looked beside him and saw a girl wearing the same shirt as his. Liam only nods as the girl sat beside him, but not that close.

"I'm Jeon Somi, by the way" the girl said and extend her hand for a shake.

"I'm Liam, Liam Manoban" Liam said with a smile and accept Somi's hand.

"Why didn't you join the parade?" Somi asked as they let go of each others hand.

"Hmm, I don't feel like joining. What about you?" Liam asked back.

"Same reason" she said. The two were already getting along, and Liam discovered that she's a 2nd year college. They were both engrossed to each other until Somi noticed that the parade has already finished.

"Oh? The parade has already finished. I think it's time for me to go now, sunbae. I'll watch your game later" Somi said cheerfully and stood up.

"Okay, see you later" Liam said and smiled.

"Bye!" Liam watched Somi jogged away with smile. That kid really made his mood good today.

"Woah! What's with the smile, Manoban? Are you flirting with that girl?" Jisoo teased. Liam snapped his head to her and saw the others behind her.

"Wait, Somi? No. I'm not flirting with her, she's just my junior" Liam said and watched the other students gathering in the big field.

"Yeah, what are you talking about?! He has Jennie already!" Seulgi scolds and smacked Jisoo's head but Liam just kept his mouth shut.

Jisoo smacked Seulgi back and glared at her. Seulgi pursed her lips and smiled sheepishly.

"How's the parade?" Liam asked.

"Oh! It was so tiring!" Bambam said, grabbing Seulgi's water bottle and drank it. Liam nods and drank his own water.

They know that Liam is still not in the mood until today because of what happened yesterday in the hospital.

"Hey! That's mine!" Seulgi scowled and took the bottle and hit it on Bambam's head.

"Ouch!" Bambam winced and pouts while rubbing his head and smiling sheepishly at Seulgi who's glaring at him.

V chuckles. "How about we all go to the cafeteria and eat, since it's still break time?" he suggests.

"Sure!" they all agreed except for Liam who's lost in his thoughts.

"You coming, Liam?" Chaeng asked, snapping Liam out of his thoughts.

"Huh?...Oh, yeah sure" he said.

"Let's go!" Seulgi hyped up. They all shook their heads and starts to walk but then, someone called them.

"Hey guys!" it was Jennie, waving at them. She jogs towards them with Irene following her.

"Uh, I just remember, Jungkook wants to meet with me. I'll catch up with you guys later" Liam said and immediately jogged away without waiting for their reply.

Jennie's smile turned into a frown when she saw Liam left when she just came. "What's wrong with him?" she asked.

Kai sighs and brushed his hair through his fingers, "Nothing. Let's go now" he said and head to the field followed by the others where he guessed Liam is.
