Chapter XXI: Court

Third Person's P. O. V

Jennie was having a hard time choosing on what to wear for later. She clicks her tongue and groans as she slump her stomach on her bed.

"This is quite stressing" she mumbles.

"Why would it be stressing, unnie?" Ella asks. She was dropped off by their mom earlier but will be pick up later anyways before she'll leaves.

"Cause I don't know what to wear" Jennie said, her voice getting muffled by the pillow. Jennie felt the side of the bed lift up as he heard her closet rustle.

She just shrugged it off, thinking that it was just Ella looking clothes for herself so she can change, since she spilled some water on her shirt earlier.

"Try this, unnie" she lift up her head to the side and saw her sister holding a pair of clothes. She sat up and gestures her sister to come closer.

"Wow...you really have a great sense of fashion, El. No wonder you're my sister" Jennie said, complementing Ella with a smile. Ella gave a wide grin as Jennie starts to prepare herself.

After a few moments, she checks her watch and realized that Liam will be arriving soon. For one last touch, she fixed her hair and goes out of her room.

She found her sister playing with her stuffs. She was about to ask Ella something but was defeated by her doorbell.

She walks to the door and opens it, revealing the person who invited her earlier holding a bouquet of daisies.

"Hi! I bought you some daisies" Liam smiled sweetly at Jennie that made latter blush and smiled back.

"Awe thanks! They're my favorites!" Jennie grins as she accepts the flowers and sniffs it.

"Glad you liked it! It really matches your outfit. You look beautiful" Liam compliments that made the blush once again.

She noticed Liam's outfit; a white shirt paired by a denim jacket, cargo pants and a white sneaker.

"Thank you, you look good too!"

"Unnie! Who's at the door?" Ella asked curiously. Liam glanced at Jennie's shoulder when he noticed a silhouette from behind.

"Oppa~!" Ella squeals, running towards Liam. Jennie stepped aside as Liam crouched down to greet the running kid.

"Ella! How are you?" he asks as soon as the latter jumps onto him.

"I'm great! How about you?" Ella grins. Liam chuckles at the little girl's cuteness as he carries her.

"Likewise, baby"

"Ella, get down" Jennie said in a firm tone making Ella pout.

"It's okay, Jen" Liam assures.

"Where are you two going?" Ella asks, finally realizing what's gonna happen.

"We're going out for awhile, El" Jennie answers.

"Can I come?" Ella asks hopefully. Jennie hesitated for a bit, it's not like she doesn't want to but she's not sure if it's okay with Liam.

"I'm sorry El, but mom's gonna pick you up any minute now" Jennie says, making Ella pout.

"Next time?" Ella asks hopefully. Jennie smiles and nods her head.

"Awe~ It'd be fun if Ella's there too" Liam pursed his lips.

"Hey! So you're saying I'm no fun?" Jennie frowns, crossing her arms. Liam's eyes widen at the statement.
